Give water to your mail carriers! We need it! Edit: I bring my own water but a fresh, fridge cold bottle of water from a stranger just hits different. It makes my day so much better to know someone cared enough to give me water, and my water is never ice cold like that a few hours into the day.

I'm sick of the heat. I'm in NC and my HVAC died on Sun. 4 days of 87 in the house was brutal! Thank God I have ac again. Ceiling fans and sleeping with ice packs didn't help much. I see how people die. I pray for all those without ac during this heat wave.

My son lives in Phoenix. His A/C stopped working a couple weeks ago. It was 99 inside the house. Luckily, he's very handy and fixed it himself. It turned out the problem was the PVC condensation line that comes out on the side of the house. It was clogged up with a dead lizard and a bunch of dirt & leaves. 🦎🍃😄🤦‍♀️

I was going through a similar situation up in NY. My ac straight up died and only just got replaced yesterday. I think the heat messed up my gut flora a little because I'm a bit unwell and made the mistake of having a dairy product yesterday, when I still had no ac to use.

Lol I've heard people on reddit say he fear mongers with tornadoes, but... They're tornadoes? About to hit society? People NEED to be scared then and to be paying attention and not dismissing as usual. For all the people who say tornadoes are rare and not to worry about them, tell that to all the victims who died and their families and the survivors who only survived because they heeded warnings

The lack of rain in the south is devastating. It's one thing when this happens late in summer when plants are established, but that isn't the case after a low rain spring as well. Anyone relying on predictable weather this year down here has been kicked in the face by nature.

I feel for you! Really and truly appreciate all the hard work you driver's put in every day much less under these circumstances. Please keep safe! There are a lot of really cool (no pun intended) and effective cooling devices that you can put around your neck that cool down your body. I know there are cooling cloths but the devices are way better. They really work! Keep a little cooler filled with ice and drinks in your truck!

@@annjames1837the places that get winter need winter to replenish groundwater. If you don't get winter then unless you get a rainy season you're just slow walking to drought conditions which is obviously terrible for agriculture and the local ecosystems where drought is a rarity. I live in Ontario, I'm not a fan of winter. But to not have it is unsettling and we definitely barely got a winter here last season.

@@francestaylor9156so true. I live in Nashville as well and am originally from Florida and I will NEVER understand people preferring oppressive heat to moderate cold (like the “cold” we get here). That and 14.5 hours of sunlight this time of year and I feel like a walking zombie, tired and sluggish but unable to sleep comfortably without sweating and tossing and turning. The winters here rarely get to the point where we are continuously below freezing all day and night. And those are the best times to snuggle under a blanket! If you have to go out in the cold, guess what: you can wear more layers! Not so much you can do to mitigate heat tho. Can exactly walk around naked (and even that wouldn’t help much lol)

I live in Ohio, and this ridge of extreme heat is making me crazy. We are on our sixth day of almost 100° temperatures, and are under a heat warning until 8 p.m. Saturday. This is too hot and about a month too early for this kind of heat. We usually don't see it until July. Luckily, we will get some much needed rain on Sunday, when this misery is due to end.🥵

I need rain in my part of Pa. Rains all around and dissipates when it gets here. Then builds back up after it passes. I knew I should not have planted corn. Less than 1/2 inch in the last 40 days.

Let it be as tall as you can manage if it grows back. Better to have a long greenish lawn than a brown crusty mud pit. A lot of my neighbors lawns look like garbage right now but mine's still green and lush because I'm not OCD about it's growth. If all the roots die you're gonna have to seed

Agree with you. I'm in southern Leflore county. Our main concerns are as dry as it is that the forest fire threat is high and all these biker/4 wheeler groups like to have cookouts.

Ryan, I've made peace that this summer is going to be hotter than fries fresh from the oven? Do you see a cooler autumn pattern coming for late Sept/ early Oct? Just want something to look forward to. Upstate, NY here, not used to constant Southern heat.

The temperature is 76° in my apartment. Can't afford to buy a new air conditioner. I can't even really afford to run it electricity bills already over 100 bucks a month for a two-bedroom apartment which is ridiculous!. Well I guess what that's what they call Summer it usually is hot in the summer time. I don't mind the hot I just mind the humidity.

Lol I would kill for 76 degrees , my trailer yesterday it was 91 inside , I live in northwestern Pennsylvania, I have no ac either , just ceiling fans and a floor tower fan . Right now today at 3:45 pm it's 88 in here My own personal sauna lmao 😅

Listen, heat comes from the sun. So pull your curtains and have your fan blowing outside to remove the heat. Don't cook foods that have a high moisture content like pasta or boiling vegetables. You'll be amazed at the reduction of heat.

Indeed sounds like heaven for me already even just 80degrees lol. today here in prescott AZ inside our RV is 104.7 degrees we can’t run our AC but we have ecoflow wave 2 in the bedroom but still can’t make it cool enough to feel comfortable,92degrees in the bedroom
