Important points: 1) 1st round of UWORLD by system as an active learning tool 2) USMLE 1st aid whole reading 3) 2ed round of UWORLD by random + Flash cards of your weak topics. Very important: Do 2 Blocks of UWORLD everyday even when you are not feeling like doing it.

Extremely helpful video !! I'm currently doing my second round of uworld, but I was confused regarding whether I should read first aid cover to cover again since I don't remember all of the information, but your video gave me clarity that I should be focussing on my question strategy more at this point. I find the method of elimination so amazing as well. I wasted so much time during my first pass making flashcards which I didn't even get the time to review, your advice regarding making flashcards only during the second pass is golden !! wish I had your videos earlier in my prep, but we have these now :D Thanks a lot for the effort !!

Dear what he and you mean by 1st and 2nd rounds. can you please explain it to me? please correct me if i am wrong. by the first round you mean for example if i am preparing myself for nursing exam. And in nursing UWORLD question bank we have 2200 questions. so in the first round we should read only the questions along with options and rationales? and clear the concept. then in the second round we should only solve the question without looking the rationales? @warran Biden @ Dr challa

When you said FA reading after 1st round of uworld is optional, I wanted to know how much time did it take to do one reading? I will finish my first round by mid-october and I’m planning to give step 1 in december end or else in Jan. i might even postpone it to p/f but I don’t wanna give up my december end option. So considering the time restraint, would it be wise to sit and do a whole reading of FA?
