WoW! Tighter quarters then in my Potter 19 lol. I have been spending time removing the old swim ladder and engine mount . Got a nice teak swim platform with 3 drop down steps and a more heavy duty outboard bracket all with 1/4" aluminum plates on both side to make it a stronger connection. I can shake the boat with that swim platform lol.

Great job! I also learned from it. If I were looking to buy a boat setup like this, I don't know that I would have discovered the rotten wood unless it was obvious from some other angle. Looks like it was far back in the bunk area under the cockpit out of sight. Thanks

It was useable as is and I have sailed it several times However these bunks and underlying framework give the boat stiffness and are structural as well as functional With the cushions in place it was not visible I usually end up selling these boats eventually as I get another one in to work on so I couldn’t just ignore it Thanks for watching

Nice repair ... doable for you ... for me, not so much!! LOL!!! I don't think that i could even fit in that berth to sleep in it!!! I'm surprised that you are keeping the grey though ... Those small cabins always seem awful dark to me, and a lighter color seems to brighten them up so much (even just to reflect a small light if doing an overnight).

The cushion will cover it anyway and I was not planning on painting more than just the repair Thanks for watching
