Unfortunately, family that is supposed to be your biggest supporters will sometimes be your worse business nightmares. What a shame!

Its not just about relatives oh, I learnt that one has to be there checking and implementing systems they want. I know someone who has a business and its being struggling not because of relatives but by people who they employed and not related to.

I'm curious to know what that head teacher uncle of yours is doing now? Did he open up his own school? Just saying. They steal from you to start their own.

He tried to work for another school & I don't think it worked out for him.

I almost cried listening to you. That your uncle must be so ashame to see the school thriving with flying colours. When God says "yes", no one can say "no". We need to talk about this. You wouldn't have experienced half of this if you were a man. I have had the worst experiences with relatives. There are exceptions, of course. They don't keep to time. They make very important decisions without consultation. They are always taking permissions. And the list goes on. Just last week a cousin recommended someone to me. He's supposed to live in the boys quarters so he can be cleaning the yard and watering the garden. With a very decent salary. He's not related to me but he knows it's someone abroad that's hiring him. Guess what? After all negotiations, he came with his girlfriend that they will have to occupy the two rooms in the boys quarters. He suggests I remove the boy that's in the boys quarters so he can move in there with his girlfriend. After all, the house got many rooms, the boy can use one of the rooms in the main house. I could not believe his arrogance and disrespect. I called my cousin and told him I don't want that guy any more. I know we need someone, but this guy's other name is Trouble. I think terms and conditions of jobs must apply to everyone, whether relatives or not. Our brothers and sisters back home don't know how we struggle abroad in order to invest back home. People in the diaspora are the highest victims back home. It's really sad. Thanks for bringing up this topic ❤.

Thank you 🙏🏾❤️. It's definitely not easy and like you said, most of them don't know how hard it takes to invest in such projects & the many sacrifices that come with it.
