Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles) are lucky to be living in Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families. Life is perfect, with every resident's needs met by the company. All they ask in return is unquestioning commitment to the Victory cause. But when cracks in their idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something much more sinister lurking beneath the attractive façade, Alice can't help questioning what they're doing in Victory, and why. Just how much is Alice willing to lose to expose what's really going on in paradise?
Don't Worry Darling, directed by Olivia Wilde, opens in theaters in North America on September 23, 2022 and internationally beginning on September 21, 2022.

You can see from the trailer how well directed this is. The visuals look amazing, as well as the acting, energy and story. Really looking forward to this an seeing what Wilde can do in the thriller genre.

After watching this trailer roughly 50 times. I’ve decided that it’s a dystopian mix of ‘stepford wives’, ‘get out’ & ‘the village’ in a world where men have become the lesser gender. So they use the only power they have left and gaslight their wives in a different scientific parallel

Have read a large chunk of the script, it was leaked somewhere last year. There's so much more horror in the movie, it goes deep! 🥰 Can't wait to see it. Hate to have to wait so long for the cinema release date, when it was filmed so long ago....

Plot: she's hooked up to a computer like VR (unwittingly and kidnapped) living his dream life as she rejected him and is highly respected in her successful career in real life. Things start to slip and she realises its a simulation and tries to escape, which she's does many times and he keeps putting her back under, then she finally escapes properly and she's been a missing person and it's also like 2050 in real life.
