Unfortunately I've never succeeded in passing a driving test even once, Ammy. This was despite having 40 driving lessons beforehand, here in Australia. Mercifully the one time I was visiting Portugal (shortly before the pandemic), the public transportation seemed very good, even on weekends. Lots of underground trains in Lisbon.

You have said it all ammy, my friend's spouse came in last December and she confirmed it already that if not that her husband is carering that she should have go back home because of stressful. So i advise those to come to always be supportive to your wife in house chores

Wow! About th automatic car. I know that in the UK 80% of them drive manual, not sure why, but have always thought it's cos it's expensive. I've seen friends and colleagues drive big cars, but surprised when I entered the cars and they're manual 😲😲
