During the 11am 6/12/11 service, Pastor Donald E. Battle of Divine Faith Ministeries International in Metro Atlanlta, GA says Eddie Long members need to demand that he sit down. Battle a one-time mentee of Creflo Dollar also said at his 8am service on 6/12/11 that Creflo was WRONG for trying to defend Eddie Long and that Creflo did NOT need to jump into that fire for Eddie Long......even TD Jakes didn't jump to Eddie Long's defense like that.

I thank God for Paul Morton who spoke out and called Eddie Long to encourage open/private repentance. He stood alone, and Eddie Long would not even honor his own words of talking with his congregation about all that had gone on. Thank God for this Bishop.

I only recently heard of this church mess a few years ago, so I dont know much about the scandals. I will say that harming children in any way is wrong, but sexually abusing anyone, especially a child is just heinous. Prayer is great, but legal action needs to be taken when appropriate.

RELAX I said the same thing. Eddie Long lied all the way to his death. When he was sick he was lying about his health. It was just lies on top of lies on top of lies. I used to live in Lithonia and his church was about 10 minutes from my house. I visited his church. This was way before the scandal and I did not feel at home. It felt more like a concert by the way it was set up and how everything was done. I agree that Creflo should have stayed out of that fire. That was NOT his fire to put out. Some fires you just have to let burn and that was one of them. No matter how much he wanted to pull him out of that fire...again that was NOT his fire to put out. And because he jumped in a fire that he shouldn't have Creflo got burned in the process. Creflo said something that was sooooooo stupid that after that statement I stopped watching him and reading his literatures.

Its been almost 4 years and to date, I have not heard or heard of ANY other 'known' minister to stand up and speak against what Eddie Long did. I thank God for using now..Bishop Battle to speak the truth boldy and in love. It a shame the amount of cronyism, nepotism and favortism that goes on in the church today. I truly believe many of today's ministers are going to lift up their eyes in hell, because they played with God and God's people and they refused to REPENT and turn away from their sins.

Everybody keeps talking about repent repent repent. You can repent but it doesn't mean you can abuse God's forgiveness by doing it again as a repeat offender or serially. Like anything else in life the Government holds you accountable for your actions and so does God. Besides, just because you're forgiven doesn't mean you don't have to answer for it. We use repent too loosely. How about using the word accountable in its place.

Thank God for those who profess to be in Christ are not afraid to speak the truth. "Depart from me I never knew you,," is a serious warning. It got my attention the first time I read that verse. May God strengthen His body of true believers that they be steadfast, that they may endure to the end. Repentance is a key element in the journey. Let us endure and may the Lord "recognise" us as His own in the end.

Gifts and calling are without repentance but, the anointing of God is another. Saul was anointed and appointed king. BUT he was only ANOINTED for 2 years, and remained king for 38 more years. Without repentance, he's utterly lost. God promised never to leave us. But we can leave him anytime. And being a reprobate means God turned you over to your own wicked mind. As a believer you ever realize how we can't get away with nothing! God chastens us or convicts us on every corner. That means inspire of our faults he is fighting to keep us to himself. The worst thing God can do is take away a man's conviction (reprobate) because then you have no faith, you do wickedness and see no wrong AND you don't repent. That's a spiritual death sentence.

I am in total agreement with the MOG, The proper protocol is to sit down momentarily and be restored and the most important thing is TRUE REPENTANCE! Some of you are missing the point, yes God is forgiving and merciful, but you not only sinned against God, there is a level of accountability in ministry! You are also accountable to your flock! There is a standard that must be upheld as leaders of the flock of God. A lot of people go to God, and look over those that were affected in the process! There is a spiritual order and protocol of discipline that should be enforced in the Church! We are not just accountable to God, but we must be accountable also to one another! Because our actions affect a much bigger picture than just individually or one local assembly. WE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST!

Pastor Battle? Thank you! None of us is perfect, but all of us need to be real, no one knows this better than I! It's one of the main things I preach, especially in my testimonies!! In my sermons, I always tell on myself, because people don't need to see the perfect you, they need to see the real you!!!! These days because of that, me & my wife are locked, loaded, and anointed by God!!!!

Tushae, I understand what you are saying, however the video started after he finished preaching. Offering is usually taken after the sermon, so that is why he began (the video began) with that. Your context is a little off.

Those words by pastor battle were balanced with love and truth. We must stand for holiness and not cover up sin. Maybe these words may compel long to repent instead of staying like that and hearing depart from me you who practice iniquity I never knew you.

Father, thank you for your wisdom and grace. We know that you have made provisions for all of us to be forgiven and to live great lives. We know that the first step is acknowleding our sin, confessing and repenting from that sin and asking you for forgiveness. We are also to ask our brother for forgiveness if/when we have sinned against him. We can then begin the healing process. Thank you for being available. In Jesus' name, enlighten pastors, congregations and others who condon sin.

Thankyou pastor Battle, wrong is wrong, the word of God tells us as the body of Christ how we are to deal with each other,thank God for your obedienc in spite of the situation,I know in my heart when God is not please with my behavior,I mean what kind of God are we serving ? The world already think Christanity is a joke,as a believer in Christ knows what it means to stand alone,as we both know we are never alone for we walk by Faith knowing he is with us all the time,so you be encouarged,we are to be examples of Christ & for Christ,how can you lead sinners to Christ doing any & everything,pastor be blessed in the Lord keep telling TRUTHS.

You do not find too many pastors who are politically correct without compromising their personal ethics. And people have to remember pastors don't just up and talk about other pastors during their sermons. I'm pretty sure someone at World Changers bugged the hell out of Creflo Dollar about his opinion on the Eddie Long case. And the devil (maybe in the form of a publicist or the person who sets up the film for his broadcasts) only records certain parts of the sermon.

+Carneil Brooks no one at WC had to bug Creflo. He always thinks he's the authority on everything biblical and its his right to speak on it. He's like a used car salesman, I believe very very little of anything he says.

Let us preachers stop trying to become television celebrities. If you are on television, then say the right things to an audience who probably dont go to church or non believers. Speak things to edify, not condemn. Especially to your congregation. Stop preaching for amens and hooping for shouts. Just preach the GOOD WORD, explain the scriptures and then YOU sit down!! No one can hold anything aganst you if you didnt speak so MUCH and so GREAT. Its YOUR words that condemn you!!!
