If it wasn't bad enough that the president interrupts a journalist to blow off some steam like a child, the steam is an ad hominem like Staci correctly pointed out, but the worst part, I think is that the stupid idiot thinks it is okay to divide a country, discriminate on and give the example that it is okay to discriminate on preferences. This is the part where I should summarize and conclude the first paragraph, but instead I'd like to refer you all back to the letter of the kind gentleman who was not only good enough to serve his country for 37 years but to write back a very civilized reply. Armie of One I think back to when Bush won the election and there was so much y’all about how he cheated and Al Gore was robbed but I don’t recall ever seeing Bush harp on it. He didn’t whine about how unfair the media was, even though he certainly should not have won that election, and I can actually respect him for that. At the end of the day he took it all in stride and did what he needed to do for the country. What trump is doing and has done for the last 2 years is absolutely embarrassing. He's rich, and in some people's understanding it means he's intelligent, well-connected, successful, someone to look up to. He's also very loud, opinionated, sure of himself and was already famous when he ran for office. The populace doesn't want competence, they want the illusion of competence. The spectacle is more important than the people behind the stage making the whole theatre work properly. As long as the man on stage says it's fine the whole building could be on fire and no one would leave their seats. After all, a famous rich person says everything's fine, he must surely know what he's talking about, even if his hair is letting out a lot of smoke.

We have a lot of stupid people over here, and they are spread out better than those that have at least two neurons to rub together. and because of electoral collage, by the way, Trump did not win the popular vote. Hillary had more votes than Trump. next election he will get even less votes, many real conservative republicans and military personnel have seen through his constant lies, he back stabs anyone that does not lick his boots, and take the blame for his errors. no matter what party or what branch, he only wants admiration and loyalty, not people that serve the country first and him second. this is why many sane conservatives will not vote for him. If the Democratic party put in a moderate , it will be a landslide. I hope the pendulum does not swing too far left.

Trump stupidly fails to recognize the cost of impatience. He complains that it took so long to get Bin Laden, when his pursuers knew a delay lets the quarry get careless, allows refinement of estimates, and increases chances of success. All through the Bush administration and partly into that of Obama, they bided time until success was most sure. Result: Obama got Osama, and laid the credit on the combatants, the commanders, and the investigators, whose experience he trusted in waiting for the right time to strike. Trump got sworn in, and a week later, against the advice of people who already showed these things take time, he overruled them since he "knows more than the generals". I don't remember the name of their target because--he wasn't there, he got away, and we had a seal dead, and, we looked stupid. And Trump turned around and blamed the commanders and the dead Seal. If Trump had been in office instead of Obama, Bin Laden would still be at large. History, Trump's own actions, disprove his own assertion. He is too stupid to realize it.

That's why this kind of thing makes me happy. Trump is unwittingly alienating the very people (the military and intelligence community) who would be necessary for him to pull off a coup. The officers were always against him, but his approval rating among the enlisted is way down now as well.

If he had not deflected credit then it could have easily been seen as something similar to Al Gore and the internet. That and it was the military and intelligence agencies that did the actual work and recon, while Obama pretty much just had to say yes.

Dont want to scare y'all but I'm Venezuelan and our dictator got asked the same thing by reporters in 1998 and he laughed and said that of course not, 5 years is enough for any president. Later on, his speeches would say "till 2021 AND BEYOND!!!", he amended the constitution, etc. The only reason hes still not there is cuz he died of cancer but we have his hand picked successor so.... good luck USA.

See the thing is its really hard to amend the constitution in the US. In 200 years its only happened 27 times. The process is no where close to Venezuela's. Congree cannot make changes on its own. The amendment would have to have a 2/3 vote in both chambers and then would require the State legislators to vote on it. So you have to get almost all of Congress AND almost all of the States on board. That's over 1000 people you have to get on board with an amendment. Even if the Republicans got all of their people on board (which they would could not), they still wouldn't be able to get enough votes to get an amendment out of the Senate because they have a small majority. No possible way it gets out of the House. So it would never make it to the States
