Totally agree. President Trump was very kind to Joe Biden, he felt sorry for Joe. Joe's wife, Jill Biden, on other hand, was mean and let the old Joe goes through such debate knowing that the old man does not have the capacity to be on that stage. Sad...😢

Yea it was smart holding back on him but just mentioning it non aggressively that one time. But maybe it's because Trump is my guy so I wanted him to do well and look good so my bar was set higher for my man Trump, but the addiction treatment question where they repeated the question twice to give him 2 extra opportunities to answer it and he never did I wish didn't happen. I knew he would mention the border and he did when he finally addressed addiction in the 3rd chance to answer it, but the border does nothing to help people with addiction. And I think he could have answered it better because at several rallies he has been talking about how so many people desperately need help and saying we need to help them. The border is essential but treatment is necessary as addicts will always find what they need even if supply is reduced by a lot. I was addicted to opioids for 10 years, painkillers briefly then heroin then fentanyl. In my state they made a rule in the worst of the fentanyl crisis that you can't get into any rehab in the state unless you have an underlying mental illness as well, so I had to do it on my own which ended up taking a year and a half longer of trying and failing before I finally did it without help, and most people can't do that. I'd love to write to him about some of the Bs red tape and regulations stopping addiction treatment. Until the 70s you could see your own doctor and they would wean you off gradually. Then they banned that and you had to go to methadone clinics or rehab (hard to get into the ones that aren't $30+ grand cash only) then the so called "Drug Addiction Treatment Act" in 2000 (another example of the names of these laws actually telling us what they destroy rather than help, like the "inflation reduction act") tried to allow doctors to wean you off with office visits but the docs had to buy special addiction treatment licenses and could only prescribe suboxone which is far less effective than literally anything else, if course you know who's lobbyists pushed that crap at the expense of teeatment quality. When I found out family doctors in the 60s were treating addiction with far higher success rates than today I was shocked but these regulations explain why perfectly.

@@bobbyc2768 In a roundabout way the border does have to do with addiction when it comes to the supply. Although it doesn't directly affect the availability of resources for addiction treatment. As I'm sure you know Mexico is the biggest supplier of fentanyl to the United States and China is the biggest supplier of fentanyl to Mexico. It's almost like chemical warfare in my opinion. This is coming from someone that has been clean for almost 8 yrs. When they realized how addictive opiate pain pills were, the Dr's started taking them away from ppl & a large majority of those people turned to street drugs... If the street drugs are harder to come by, I believe more people would seek treatment. Because no matter what you say to an addict they are not going to quit until THEY are ready!
