My understanding is that when Miss Daniels began answering questions on direct that President Trump's lawyer objected and that the judge said (paraphrased) to "sit down and shut up." That is why there were no objections during direct. Trump's legal team figured that if there was a conviction that the judge's directive would be great grounds for an appeal. Sadly he now is using their relative silence against them! Seems to an old retired federal agent that the judge can't have it both ways...

No. The reason for her testimony was to underscore what was being covered up and why would Trump care and pay her off even though he claimed it never happened.

The worst was when the only credible witness Costello in this whole Kangaroo Court which would of slammed shut the case for the defense Judge had a hissy fit as he testified yelled in court startling witness as this kind of behavior in Court is shunned in court. Merchan peers and the lawyers on the jury know this is a corrupt case and disrespectful of the rule of law. Mistrial.

Awesome judge , both lawyers , did well , Trumps lawyers , after presenting an excellent defence , were obliterated by the prosecution , and then a brilliant judge , banged the final nail in the coffin !

It was objected to and sustained... So what are you complaining about? Also, how is Ms Daniels childhood so prejudicial to the defense that I should declare a mistrial? I agree that it's irrelevant, which is why the motion was sustained, but it's not prejudicial in any way. Same thing with the bathroom. How is the appearance of the hotel bathroom in the hotel suite prejudicial in any way whatsoever to your client Mr. Blanche?
