Ooops. The correct comment should have been: In all my life have I ever seen a Charles Bronson that I didn’t like. I agree with you though. I believe he might have been my favorite actor. His devotion to Jill Ireland was amazing and a beautiful thing. So sad and tragic that he lost her at such a young age. They should have gone on to live a long and happy life together. I loved him in the movie: Showdown at Boot Hill. Incidentally, I’m a 79 year old widow.

My first memory of Charles Bronson was in The Magnificent Seven in 1960. I was 12 at the time. I am now 76 and he remains one of my favorite male actors. Thank you, Charles Bronson, for all of your movies and your dedication to your profession. BTW, this is an excellent movie! 5 stars!

Can´t agree with that, it is ok but was a bloody tv movie. It´s better than severel of his outings of the bad Cannon produced movies. But that don´t say much. His best movies are from the 60´s and 70´s. The great escape, The dirty dozen, Once upon in the west, Chato´s land, The Mechanic, Mr Majestyk, Death Wish. Just named a few there.

The chemistry between the father and the daughter, and between mother and son has been very well brought out. My eldest daughter (niece actually, daughter of my deceased younger brother) has alienated herself from me recently, so I can easily connect with the scenario and situation portrayed here.🙄 Lots of love from India, ❤from an old Branson fan.

I do know how you feel in such a situation for I experienced same from my daughter. It hurts terribly, no matter who's right or wrong! It had been a matter of her being disrespectful to me. She remained uncommunicative for almost two years but we have since made up. Do not give up on her. Pray and continue to pray. This is what I did. I am thankful that I did not have to compromise parental standards. I pray that things work out for you both 🙏🏾

Bronsons wife in this movie played Grace on Little House on the Prairie. Mr. Edwards wife. Anyway, I loved the movie. It's a typical 'made for TV' movie. Bronson is a class act. RIP! 'The Mechanic' is one of my all time favorites along with 'Mr. Majestic' and 'Ten to Midnight! '

Hint to the pregnant cop near the beginning: don't be too happy in a crime film or you'll be the next one to get killed. A strong film with a bookshelf full of backstory - demented mother, hatred of Catholics, psychopath dressing up, becoming a cop for parental approval and a father with the secret of his son's death. That was a good one!

@@robertperry4439 so you will kill all nuns even if you do not know them because of some of them were bullies to you. grow up. and in this movie, the guy killing the nuns probably had a role in killing his dad with his mother and killed and buried that young girl in his home town who wanted to become a nuns and leave. I would of taken a picture of the guy dead against the wall and sent it to his elitist mother who is a hoarding and dirty cow yet speak crap about some young girl her son probably only dated once. did you see that crap hole she live in and she acts like she is high and mighty.

Thanks for uploading this excellent movie, originally aired in 1993 & intended to be a pilot for a full TV series, though for whatever reason, CBS did not pick up that option. So instead, Bronson went on to make a fifth and final Death Wish film & then concluded his legendary career with the memorable Family of Cops trilogy of movies (while the next project for the wonderful & alluring Dana Delany was as part of the ensemble cast of the fabulous western epic, Tombstone).
