I think the best part of this drama is they dont put feelings into words. Instead it was expressed in the silent, in the quite staring, in the actions. No words needed. And as viewer we knew.. we knew they love each other especially dong hoon though he never said it. I love it when he quitely looking for her when he didnt see her around..

This drama is really food for the spirit. It inspires us to hold on and live the life we were given. Even if we suffer here and there, we should not give up our will to live because it will get better. The storm is not forever. We will meet the right people at the right moment and somewhere out there, someone is rooting for you. Though these people will never stay forever in our lives, they made us believe that miracles happen. When two people can inspire each other to live, that for me is the greatest expression of love - the real deal, the true romance. 💖

This is the most touching love I ever seen between a couple in a kdrama. Literally both cared so selflessly for eachother . Even though she liked him in the end all she wanted was for him to be happy. She liked him but didn’t push her love for him, nor care if he mended his relationship with his wife as long as he was happy. I really wish she would have been older because this type of love is one in a million. When she told him crying “I just wanted you to be happy” made me ball. Seriously it was too touching. And how he looked at her once he discovered all the sacrifices she made for him. Name a more loving couple you can’t

I don't know why people insist so hard this doesn't have romantic undertones.. maybe to feel ok w loving it.. maybe. It's clear it's lee jian's first love and yes it's tragic and won't end w a kiss but it's still love between 2 people who understand each other. And i would get it being just a silly crush if the mister in question didn't look like his heart was breaking everytime he looked at her, the scene where he cried his eyes out after everything turned out well for him but she was gone told me everything i needed to know.. he still has to deny himself that part bc he still has expectations on him from his family and he doesn't want to burden her like that again after everything she went through for him.. the last scene when they meet again is so comforting, bc their love goes beyond sexual love, just seeing each other will color their lives in beautiful shades. It's very touching

The most beautiful kdrama. I have watched many different kdramas but this one is different the adult perspective, the never ending reassuring silence of not knowing what is going to be said, but for some words to be left unsaid shows silence is the most comforting words. I love how lee ji san slowly developed emotions, she was dull and dark , and for dong hoon to slowly open up, although his quiet nature is most enchanting personality to see in a kdrama. Looking forward to see more directors to take this approach. Upset it’s finished 😣

Here the relationship between the every characters of the drama and their affection to each other is so pure..Sometimes we cry to see something so beautiful.. It is that type of drama..

I love this movie. I love the chemistry between Dong Hoon and Ji-an. There were times when I was moved to tears…

I keep with coming back to this drama because I keep on thinking about the voice over at the ending scene. And while rewatching the series, I realized that the voice overs throughout are either unseen conversations or future scenes. That's why my hope increased upon interpreting that the final voice over maybe a conversation between them over dinner or one of their meet ups. And that it was "Jian", not Lee Ji An or Ji An-ssi. It was so intimate and very telling.

After watching it for 10-15 days , i feel so much connected to this drama and i wanted more of it like everyone in Jeong hee's bar, Dong hun's office colleagues fun talk, the park brother trio , Ki hoon and Yu ra , Jeong hee and her life at bar, those back to home walks, Park family eating dinner and their mother, mostly Dong hun and Ji an's Intrection , everything. A Masterpiece, such a comfort providing drama. I love it😌❤

One of the impressions I got from this series is that everyone can have a comeback story. When you are down and feeling hopeless, there is a place waiting for you that is so much better. And although it may seem like you will never get to that place, you can if you don't give up. And when it feels like no one cares, someone does. And having just that one person who cares, whether it's your grandmother or your boss or some bar owner. Just someone. Someone to cheer you on and care. That can make all the difference in you getting to that place. It's that caring for others that matters. It's like straw turned into rope. One piece of straw is weak. Many together are strong.

This series is just sureal realistic, which affects me so much like they were really suffering in real life. I miss the casts i wish i have these people in my life. It just really feels like they're real i'm crying

he dint say he loves her.. he dint kiss her. the hug was barely a good bye hug ... But yet in each way he looks at her I could feel the pure love .. no kisses nor words needed to express love .... and this drama nailed it .. such a pure love between them .. ending is where every one would surely smile a little with your eyes filled with joy and hoping they ll continue their relationship by starting with a dinner and soju

RIP I loved this series and the amazing conplex relationship between the two. Two actors who are and were a master of their craft. 😢

This drama has taught me that without saying the word "I love you" you can show it loud in other forms. How Dong-hoon always looks for her with his eyes...how Ji-an listens to him all day long! I want to believe that after the healing process they have both gone through, they are ready to walk a new path together. Without worrying about what society expects of them!! Just finished watching this movie, I cried so much, and laugh out loud so much, I love the community of friendship, the live of the brothers, I love the story line about taking care of each other, looking out for each other, even if you don't know each other that well, it's about second chance and living the best life you can, it's about not over stepping the boundaries and to know your place in some one's life, this is a movie to watch and share with others., Thanks for making this movie.

After watching it again I realise that he really love Jian..he's willing to put his life in the line just to save her...he went fist to fist with the loan shark(that was dangerous move but didn't mind)..willing to lose everything his wife his position just to save Ji an.while Jian would have also been doing the same thing..these two sad people can feeli each other so deeply that if it makes one happy they can offer their life if that's what it cost...I'm so deeply touch..they missing each other he keep looking at Ji an table when ever she's not there..when ever they have eye contact it speaks volumes..and that silence is the most comforting than words,I just can't its making my heart explode because seriously you can feel them but they have to bottle up because they know they can't be together. I want to believe the ending was just a new beginning for their blossoming love..

This drama is very underrated.. everything about it is perfect. You feel that every detail, every pause, every word is intenteded to create such a masterpiece. This one of the best things I have ever watched, not just in kdrama.

I am really sad that I already finished watching this drama and reading the comments warms my heart, this drama is truly a masterpiece and will always have my heart. I have only seen Park Dong Hoon genuinely smile once throughout this drama and it was when he saw Lee Ji An again after not seeing each other for how many years and that alone explains how genuine they care to each other, pure happiness seeing someone you love finally living their best life.

What a powerful kdrama. I'll never get over it!

I just finished episode 11. This is just astonishingly good. Crash landing on you, itaewon class, it's okay to not be okay are others I've seen and this is on par with those. I watched the Netflix Korean movie 'pandora' and what koreans can do with a budget of only half a million dollars blew me away (that film totally broke me emotionally). Then I see crap on us and UK tv that has twenty times the budget..... Korean TV actually gives you something, you cry because people are doing good things, they are characters to aspire to. Western tv just takes or follows someone's hollow self serving journey. I can't watch western tv or movies at all now, they're like cinematic vampirism.

I watched this drama twice and still the impact is so heavy that it took me how many days to let go..dong hoon and ji an really so genuine..the artist and the story, and the lines, the word, superb..it really touched my soul that I cried all the time..this is the best korean movie for me..the 2nd one is Mr. sunshine..

She asked him if he could hate her so that she would succeed but he ended up liking her even more though he couldn't show how he loved her his eyes did all the talking when he searched for her when she's not around. They both understood each other well. In the reunion scene when he shaked her hand tightly and leaving it red my heart melted. When they parted their ways he asked her in mind "were you able to find some comfort for yourself " and she says yes. Although he hasn't divorced his wife while discussing with his colleague but I think they're living separated. I really wanted Lee Ji-An and Park Dong Hoon to be together. I wish there is part 2 🥺.

One thing that makes this drama good and relatable is that they weren't involved romantically, for me that thing was the best part. I wanted them to be happy in their own ways like him with his life and her with her life, after watching the whole drama i liked this thing that they weren't something romantically

This is the Best!!..Storyline, characters, acting was amazing!! I usually watch American shows like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, but after watching My Mister I’m kinda hooked on Korean shows!

I'm so obsessed with these 2.2 lonely soul found comfort and even though they love each other the external forces is so strong that they can't just be together. In the end Love endure,and won God everything about the story,acting,how the lens move,the symbolism the object they use to convey and give hints full of perfection..if U watch it 2,3,4 times you will found new hidden gem the more U watch the more U will understand their love has always been there.. I'm so happy with the ending.

I watched this movie 2 years ago and now I'm watching it again. This is an exception bcuz I've never watched anything 2nd time, the movie is too damn good. I love everything about this movie. Even though I desperately need season 2 but that ending was enough, they're clearly gonna see each other again and hopefully end up together already.

Je ne compte plus le nombre de fois où je l'ai regardé sans jamais me lasser, bien contraire l'émotion au lieu de s'éteindre ne fait qu'augmenter ainsi que la connaissance plus pointue de chaque personnage que l'on comprend de mieux en mieux. On peut voir My mister comme le plus intime et le plus touchant des podcasts jamais réalisés. Lee Ji-an avec ses écouteurs sur les oreilles en permanence lui ont montré ce qu'était une famille, des amis, des collègues, des voisins, une vie avec ses joies et ses peines, tout ce qu'elle n'avait pu expérimenter en fait. Park Dong Hun lui montre le chemin à suivre en tant qu'être humain, l'éduque et on peut dire qu'il lui donne naissance avec ce fil qui est une métaphore en représentant le cordon ombilical. Un "père hypocampe" voilà comment je le perçois et non comme un amoureux possible comme beaucoup de spectateurs le souhaitaient. Tous les deux bien qu'avec une grande différence d'âge le savaient. Ils ont une relation semblable d'amour véritable, sans condition qui passe par un respect exemplaire. L'image du "père hypocampe" va me rester pour aujourd'hui. J'ai appris depuis peu que Lee Ji-eun avait éprouvé beaucoup de fatigue lors du tournage, et avait dû être hospitalisée. Il est vrai que l'on a l'impression qu'elle vit un enfer, et la fatigue se voit à l'écran. Elle avait accumulé un travail acharné durant plusieurs années pour sa carrière de chanteuse et elle avait fini par devenir insomniaque entre autre. Lee Ji-eun et Lee Ji-an se ressemblent comme 2 gouttes d'eau. Aucune autre artiste aurait pu endosser le rôle qui lui colle à la peau vu son parcours de ses débuts jusqu'à aujourd'hui. ✊️🫰🫶 💐

My head cannon post show is that Dong Hoon and his wife breaks up because they're not happy together and the damage is unfixable. So Dong Hoon meets up with Ji An and their relationship blossoms to the next level. Ji An then joins the neighborhood permanently.

This is the second K-Drama I’ve ever watched, I thought “Something In The Rain” was great...Then I watched “My Mister” and it’s just as good or even better!!

I have never expected this to be "sooooo good". A complex story that was masterfully clarified in film! A story told with sincere emotions, silence and stares. Yet you can feel what every scenes wanted to convey.❤️

Lee Sun-kyun was a wonderful and unique artist, I really hate the culture of South Korea and their strictness, which caused such a wonderful artist to be lost at such a young age. You will always remain in my mind with your unique art.💔

The drama was incredible masterpiece in different level. So REAL and DEEP for those that in the same situation & struggle for life. Thought us that we are not alone in this sometimes cruel world for an adult and teenagers. There is always HOPE and good people around us. Don’t ever forget that if one of us had lost their way of life. LOVE is unique in many different ways. Enjoy this great drama and its great song guys, completely worthed to watch.
