He announced 25 years for the Cardinals and 16 years for the Cubs. For whom was he more a fan? Obviously for a team who actually won 3 World Series during his tenure.

I don't know a thing about baseball, and this is the first time I've encountered Mr. Harry Caray - but for some reason I love this man. He's obviously spent a LOT of time hearing his voice greatly amplified. His enunciation is incredible - I rely a bit on lip-reading, so they way he speaks is like having captions on and in bold. He seems like the sort of guy who, had he lived to see 2020, could make me feel alright about how the year has gone.

I'm a lifelong Cards fan (born in 82), but I grew up watching the Cubs on WGN because it was the only baseball I could watch on TV. We didn't get much Cardinals baseball on TV where I'm from. My grandpa (a Yanks fan) and I used to love listening to Harry call the ball games. I miss those days. Harry was such an awesome man.

I was born in '94, a suburb North outside of Chicago, and I have been a Cubbie fan since I was taken to a Cubs game, when I was little. Sadly I didn't get to hear or see this guy in his element. But luckily I have easy access to it now. But I'm jealous for the Cub fans like you who grew up, or at least saw this guy. But something I got to share with my mom (who was born in a suburb outside of Chicago too) and fans like you. We got to see the Cubs win the World Series!

I grew up in Chicago born in 1970 and it seems like he was always talking in the background everywhere we went. He was a character when getting his buzz on, players would be running around the bases and he wouldn't be paying attention off talking to Jim and Nancy from Wasgeegan, Wisconsin on their 50th anniversary or something besides what was happening on the field. Hilarious and classic !! Hey Hey Hey !!

The biggest steak 🥩 I ever saw on a plate! I thought to myself Chicago people like to live big. This is the big city and the steaks are big, too. I’m from a smaller city. So I highly recommend his restaurant! The food and atmosphere were fantastic but he wasn’t around anymore so that was my only regret. God Bless Harry Carey! What a Character! From a phillies fan lucky enough to hear Harry Kalas call the world series in 2008, you just wish so hard that Harry Caray coulda somehow been around to call the Cubs this year. If you believe in heaven you bet the man was looking down, cheering his brains out!

First game back same seat next to his held steve stone, we did the stretch without him, but wanted to do it good, i remember - and that last one without him was the best and we all cried knowing its over. And we never needed a reward to tell us the joy we felt with eacother
