All main bosses from every world in the game Donkey Kong 64, released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64.
In this Donkey Kong game, the goal is to collect every Golden Banana from the Kong family, which were stolen by King K Rool. All Golden Bananas have been scatterd through the world of Donkey Kong, and it's your job to get them back.
To reclaim every Golden Banana, certain objectives must be done. This includes mini-games, mini-bosses, unlocking secret areas. Besides for collecting all Golden Bananas, other items can be obtained aswell.
Every item has to be collected, including a secret Golden Banana, to get a 101% score. By having 101% you'll have an extra ending when you beat the final boss.
Donkey Kong 64 is to date, as seen by the fans, one of the largest collecting games that is ever released. In the 2008 issue of the Guinnes World Records: Gamer's Edition, Donkey Kong 64 has been given the title "Most Collectible Items in a Platform Game". If you can instant win/obtain every item, you'll be playing for at least 7 hours.

I find it sad. Dogadon was just avenging his or her child whom diddly callously murdered by pretty much curbstomping... The parent is screaming in unendurable agony as it burns alive. Dogadon has a magical sheild. That's how it survived being submerged in lava. When you bash his body off the wall, it breaks the sheild. Which is the light flowing off him as he or she howls in anguish, then the reptile insect hybrid falls into the lava and burns yo death. By the time his flesh is melting though you only see his hand and his head and body are submerged. But you can see his claws melt off and then the fire goes out and is replaced by smoke, indicating that the poor creature is completely immolated.

+Zachary Kenniston That description would be a nice thought if it wasn't by the fact you see Dogadon still alive and well after his defeat against Chunky in the next King K. Rool cutscene, tho he pretty much talks traumatized.

The only way reason he survived is because he lives in the donkey kong/ Mario universe. Look how many times bowser had been totally incinerated and died and Judy comes back. If Dogadon were in a sonic game, as powerful as he is he'd be dead. I don't know if any entity that can survive lava. Though it is weird he looks and behaves like he is dying and burning. But he lives. Weird... Unless he's a silicon based life form. Haha. That said I wonder who would win in a fight Ridley or dogadon... Their both reptile/insect hybrids abd their both immortal.

You know what was more of a nightmare than mad jack? THAT FREAKING DK ARCADE GAME TO GET THE STUPID COIN. Seriously. That drove me nuts and cost me more time beating the game than Mad Jack. But Jack was a close second...

One thing I really like about the bosses of this game is their presentation. All of them have a brief and often humorous cutscene that introduces them (Chunky bowing to Dogadon gets me every time), and the music is always a very tense and threatening version of each boss's respective world music. Sure, some of these guys were really frustrating to me as a kid, but they were all very memorable to me.

Yes it was disturbing the way he flails around screaming in unendurable excruciating agony. Dog aeon suffered probably the worst agony in the entire game, the poor creature was only trying to avenge his or her murdered child... fuck you diddly kong! Chimps are pretty sadistic in real life to. They like killing babies, which is analogous yo diddy cur stomping dogadons child.

With Mad Jack; I was like..."OK after the third strike he's gone." I assumed he had the same life as the previous two; then I said, "All right, a fourth life; makes sense. Making it more difficult" Then I get to see him disappearing, and I said, "Ahh shit..." I only had 1/2 watermelon life. I died of course, and got so pissed at the world! ohh the good memories!!

Humanized versions of these characters, aside from King Kut Out and King K.Rool: Army Dillo is the dorky ditz of the group. Dogadon is the wiz kid, being very smart and stoic. Mad Jack is headstrong, easily angered, and less than stable. Pufftoss is basically the cool dude.

Chunky had a bad time mainly because of difficulty, and Tiny had a bad time because of equal parts difficulty and Pure, Unleaded, High-Octane Nightmare Fuel.

I don't mind mad jack. Controlling tiny kong is decent, and you can go around in a circle. I hate puftoss with a passion, bc I'm the worst boat driver known. King Kut out sucks ass too.

All of these bosses are defeated with the aid of convenient nearby objects, like cannons, laser switches and explosive barrels. In the Banjo games you fight all bosses with your own power.

Brandon Jenkins But I have a headcanon regarding him! He loves the concept of fear, and he's willing to use it on anybody necessary. Halloween, a fear-based holiday, has a special place in his heart, and it gets to the point where from 3:00 AM October 1st to 11:59 PM on October 31st is when he allows his inner demons to come out (read: causes lots of fear-based mischief), because Halloween takes place on the last day in October! He's at his scariest on the big day itself, to the point where he doesn't seem to be in control of his own body anymore! And because of his love of the macabre, he can't stand Christmas cheer and Valentine's Day. So, for the first 25 days of December and the first half of February, respectively, he goes into a sort of stasis just to get away from it all.

You say Mad Jack and King Kutout are hard. The final boss is the hardest fight in the entire game. 5 phases one for each Kong and they are all timed? Yeah welcome to your nightmare. I always feel intimidated and daunted whenever I enter the K. Kruizer 2 to fight that guy knowing the fight I am about to get into. I know probably many people did not get this far due to the Nintendo and Rareware Coin but let me tell you. Is it worth it? The game rewards you with the most brutal battle in the game with no breaks at all. I beat it but it was HARD the first time I played it.

Let me guess. The lengthy and hard boss fight he has, the fact that he looks like a demon possessed the Terminator who in turn possessed Quackerjack from Darkwing Duck and the resulting abomination turns into a Donald-Duck-sounding Jack-in-the-Box, and Grant Kirkhope providing an eerily detailed sample of laughter and placed it into MJ's theme at random parts of the song are all key factors on why you felt like bursting into tears upon locking eyes with this horrifying freak from Reject Hell.

He's a little creepy-lookin', and he sounds a bit like Donald Duck, plus, his boss fight is a bit lengthy, but his theme is downright nightmare-inducing, what with the laughter!

I don't remember Army-Dillo's 2nd fight being that dark, I remember being able to see the whole map clearly. And I played that one multiple times too because I just loved fighting him the second time. lol Infact sometimes I would just run around when he had the massive canon just to go through his attack cycle multiple times. XD God I love this game. I hated the water boss and the cardboard K Rool one, I sucked at both of them so once I beat them I was like fuck you I'm not doing those again. Course now that I'm older and better at the game I might not do as bad at them.

I loved the music that played for all these bosses. I remember being sad as the door disappeared cause I wouldn't be able to hear the soundtrack again

I always felt the DK64 bosses were more fun and less like a chore to get to the next level. Sure, there was a challenge in them after the first two warm up guys (who come back with a vengeance later anyway), but they never really got me frustrated as an impatient kid if I failed and had to start over. Mad Jack can go fall in a ditch, though.

He does fall in a ditch. When you deliver the 5th and final hit on him, the platform he's standing on descends and it takes him a second to register the situation, and he accepts his final fate and waves goodbye to the player while shaking his head nervously. When the rest of the platforms come down, he's gone and there's a key for K.Lumsy in his place.

Let's be honest : Mad Jack was the hardest boss I had to fight in that game. I remember shuting down the sound just so I couldn't hear the creepy music and Mad Jack's Donald Duck voice!

5:43 This boss actually has a very cheap way to beat him. All you do is jump off the color squares and into the abyss. It won't kill you and you end up being brought onto a platform just within floating distance of the battleground. The boss will keep jumping in place in one spot, unable to reach you. Then, when he throws fireballs (or shoots lasers, depending on the stage he's reached), just float back onto the course and make a dash to the proper pad to stomp on. You should have enough time to make it there no matter what, although when he's invisible there is an off-chance that the pad will go away before you can hit it in time.
