Күн бұрынMe playing a huge Donkey Kong Country 2 medley on piano. This game has one of the best soundtracks ever, if not THE BEST! David Wise is a God and in my opinion, even on a par with Koji Kondo. I tried to include every level theme (save Haunted Hall). I've learned to play them all by ear within about 3 years.

All those deaths at the end of the background music pieces probably lead to the “Game Over” piece at the end. No Red Balloons left.

Hearing this, makes me feel how was good the past time I lived with my Parents, but those never'll come back... I could die to have born once again and live that good time, playing games and listening for those musics first time again, going to school, playing soccer and many more things I did.

This is so amazing. It might be my favorite youtube video of all time. You're so talented, and the dedication shows on this. Never would anyone dare to play through an entire ost in one shot. Mostly want to thank you for uploading it to share with all. It makes me so happy to hear these songs. And to know there's other people out there who were moved by the musical masterpieces in the first generation of games.

I love what you did to the more atmospheric pieces like Lockjaw's Saga, Hot-Head Bop, Mining Melancholy, Bayou Boogie, Stickerbrush Symphony, and Flight of the Zinger. Very well done. I also love how you play each of the death themes for each corresponding level. It really shows how much you respect the DKC2 soundtrack.

This goes to show everyhody what true talent is.....I miss the 90s ..today everybody whats to just get paid qiuck and dont want to produce anything good from the heart and take there time..its a shame. ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll... als erstes jedenfalls: saubere Leistung! :) die Soundtracks sind nicht alle leicht auf dem Klavier zu spielen, besonders bei parallelen Melodien und Spezialeffekte (wie bei Hot-Head Bop oder Disco Train), aber du hast es alles gut hinbekommen! ich bin auch ein großer Fan von Dave Wise und finde alle Tracks von DKC2 einfach nur hammermäßig ^^ ich bin schon gespannt auf seine Musik in Tropical Freeze, hab gelesen, er ist wieder dabei :)

Normally I would be very impressed by this.. but I have been spoiled by To Brier's Sight-Read* renditions of video game soundtracks and now I will chase that high for the rest of my miserable life.

Can't even express in a comment all the things I have to say. DKC2 was my childhood and I do think it has possibly the best soundtrack of all time. You completely blew me away with your performance, played the songs with such accuracy that I didn't think possible on piano and inspired me to keep practicing so I can one day play all the dkc2 tunes like you. In Poland there was a time when we had to rent consoles and games with them - just like VHS or DVD's... I remember Donkey kong country 2 - rented on Friday and returned on Sunday. Blister on my thumb but DKC2 finished!!! 5 minustes breaks to eat something... btw. great video! :)
