When I just came to live in the USA, I cried every day for the first few months as I missed my friends and family back in Jamaica. But it all worked out because God provided the right people in my life. Don’t worry, God will work it all out for you.

When my mom left JA, I was 3 years old. I lived with my grandmother until I was 13. Although my mom came back almost every year to see us. I cried for the first 6 months i came to live with my mom in NY. I miss my grandmother and everyone so much. My mom finally said if you want to go home, I'll send you back. It was ruff but my grandmother was a blessing. She always used to tell me that my mom was nice, and she was a good daughter to her, and I should stick by her. You wouldn't believe how close my mom and I became. People can't believe that I didn't raise with her. Not a day went by I didn't talk to her, even at work. I'm having lunch, I called her. The last 6 weeks before she died, almost every night, we slept on the cot and the beside her bed. As I get older, I'm drawn back to JA. I go home and I enjoy being outside. I enjoy driving out, especially going to Portland. Everyone should have an opportunity to travel if they wish. I have friends in Ja who have good jobs and homes who don't want to travel. Everyone have to do what's best for them and their family.

Aunty, america can be a lonely place. Stick with your family ❤️and some of these new people are not trusted people 🙏🏼show you one side. And there is a next side to them🥲some attached themselves because of what they can get. But God will give you the desernment to know what and who to trust. You have to be attentive to the Holy Spirit 🙏🏼I came here 1982, I adopt , and learn a lot. Wouldn’t live back in Jamaica 🇯🇲 sorry 😀❤️Florida is a nice quiet place🌷🌴🌞but trust God❤️🙏🏼

God is good. Blessings to you. I could never have done it. Im in UK and now I wish I had made a move to somewhere else especially for my kids. I have school friends that left here at 17, 18 yrs of age and they never came back. One of my friends is an interior designer and got married to an American citizen her kids same age as mine now all grown up. She lives in Long Island. That's me though always never confident enough to just try something. At least you know you will never have to think what if, or if only . Because that's what I do all the time. Aunty Donna will soon get use to it. God bless you all. ❤🙏🏽
