It's not a very nice thing for a young person to hear, but let's face it, Donna's old enough to know. But surely, Kathy must have loved Donna, at least a little.

Donna was a fantastic character! HUGE mistake to kill her off. Imagine her interacting with the Mitchell brothers, David Wicks, continuing her feud with Cindy.... she was a great forerunner to Janine!

Loved Donna!! They made Janine like her during her 2002 spiral the drugs prostituion blackmail which Donna did all back in the 80s

I do think that Kathy felt some guilt after Donna died but then Donna lived in a fantasy world it’s one of those tragic stories really but I think a real one

she definitely did feel guilty. she’s said so several times. it was a horrible situation for both of them though, kathy had to relive being raped every time she was near donna but donna wanted her real mum and somebody to care for her. i have no idea what i’d do if i was either of them!

They actually did say in later episodes who it was. His name is Marcus Duffy and he was Kathy's music teacher.

@@CathyKitson I was watching classic eastenders (they're airing the old episodes on some channel called Drama) and this came 5 or 6 episodes before Wilmott Brown raped Kathy. I don't know why but I think it's really odd that they chose to do that.
