My dad born and raised in Puerto Rico was obsessed with Donna Summer.. i remember growing up listening to Donna Summer thanks to him. He will always say that she is his girlfriend lol. I now appreciate her music and gives me great memories of my youth and my dad❤

Amen to that I was not much of a disco person I was bluegrass southern rock and I will agree with you she had such a wonderful stage presence she was physically a beautifulwoman and it seems to be with her attitude in the way she always talked and smiled that she had an inner beauty that no one can compare to today so I can say I'm not a fan of disco but she had a powerful beautiful voice I am a fan of Donna Summer the person great singer great lady and I am sure that Jesus has his ever-loving arms around his beautiful talented angel to me she will never be

For those of you that don't know. During the 911 terrorist attack. Donna Summers chose to stay in her apartment in NY city days after the attack.. Because she chose too stay, she developed cancer from the toxic dust that entered her apartment.

Donna Summer kept me on the disco dance floor for many, many wonderful hours. This is my favorite of her tunes. I was fortunate to see her in concert, and she was outstanding, and had everyone on their feet, singing and dancing. Most people do not realize that she was also an opera singer and the power of her voice was incredible.RIP, Donna.🎶❤️🎶

I watched the documentary on HBO about her, my daughter came out and was asking me who she is, and i said honey that gorgeous woman is Donna Summer, or like the people like me remember her, she is the queen of disco. She was a beautiful, beautiful woman, and I thankfully was around to enjoy trash disco, and knew when they played last dance it was the end of the night

Haven't heard this in so long! She Works Hard for the Money came up in 80's videos I was watching. Had to come search and saw this one. Always one of my favorites!
