This show was my literal youth. It saved me from myself and gave me so much strength and a reference point. Rosie has always been my idol!

'It saved me from myself' - very moving and sounds familiar.

This took me back to my teenage years. I also had Donny, David Cassidy and Bobby Sherman on my wall. This episode of your show Rosie was instrumental in giving Donny and Marie back their carrears. You can feel proud that you did more than just put on a great TV show, you touched people's hearts ❤️🇦🇺🌹

Rosie had such a good show back in the 90's. She worked so hard and participated in a Broadway production onstage almost every day.

Who wouldn't dress up as a puppy to sing to Rosie. Love this. Love Rosie. The ending is excellent!

I was backstage in the hallway just outside the door to the SNL studio watching this on the monitor. Everybody had a good laugh afterwards, especially with Donnie in the dog suit. I remember seeing Jennie McCarthy and Maxwell as well, I didn't realize it was the same show.

Love this and remember this episode like yesterday. My mom was the biggest Rosie fan.. Subscribing to the Rosie magazine as well. She taped every episode of Rosie so she could we watch and show her friends. She loved Rosie from the time she hosted with Regis when Kathie Lee was away.

What a crazy moment on television . . . Donny Osmond laying flat on the floor with Rosie O'Donnell punching him in the stomach while he's wearing a puppy suit with his purple socks in full view. Did you ever?

Rosie you don't know this but you baby sat me and my older sister everyday after Catholic elementary school. American Irish catholic kids. I was a gay band kid. Your show was THE BEST. I forgot how much it impacted me until I started seeing these segments pop up! Today you and I have very different political opinions, but I really don't care because I know where your intentions and heart are at and I'm so appreciative of you giving me a safe funny APPROPRIATE show to watch as a kid.

I always wondered if this was an act, but with just a little bit of truth to it. I remember when Donny insulted Rosie, and I think he didn't really mean to; he was trying to be funny, but it came out snarky and wrong and defensive on his part. I'm sure he wished he could have taken it back immediately. This public shaming of him, all with a humorous bent, was good closure and I'm sure it actually did teach people a lesson about NOT saying something just in time.

My favorite part is the re-enactment with the dolls 4:59 Boy doll: Hi, I'm Donny Osmond Girl doll: Hi, I'm Rosie, I love you Boy doll: You're fat
