You didn't watch the goals carefully. De Gea had no chance on both strikes from Gundogan. First one- absolutely no chance for any keeper. Second one -keeper's vision was blocked, he saw it at the last moment. Lets not forget ref kept United in the tie gifting them a penalty.

My man Mattise...u overate Tuchel ....he was not tht good.... particularly in the league he doesnt do well ...even with a Bayern tht has Kane in it....tht Bayern side is too good to languish in third.....take the Champions league out of it when u consider him at chelsea...chelsea were not good especially in attacking play....we defended well....but we had no patterns off play...just a reliance in individual quality....Poch has provided better patterns of play in a year thn Tuchel has in his tenure.....

I actually agree with Abbie. McKenna has options. Enzo doesn’t, Frank doesn’t, Amorim doesn’t. McKenna could go Brighton who won’t have high expectations and will give him time. If it was Man Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal then that’s different because those clubs give new manager at least 2 seasons whereas Chelsea don’t even give you 6 months. It’s better for McKenna to go Brighton, do well and then hope for a future Man Utd/Liverpool job. Why go Chelsea and be expected to get Top4 in his first season

A win doesn’t make a performance good. The assessment of the last 5 games is completely wrong. They were terrible against Nottingham Forest, terrible against Bourmouth, fair against Brighton. The only played very well against Everton and West Ham.

The fact that he can set up a team to be defensively solid and simultaneously rutheless offensively speaks a lot. Looking at Poch season at Chelsea I saw lots of similarities with his first season at Tottenham, afterwards added Son, Toby, Trippier among the 6-7 brought in, while getting rid of 23 players. Cant say what Chelsea would've done but something similar is what everyone has said is necessary, and who knows if 2-4 new players would help improve Chelsea, a consistent striker certainly would, but they were on track to be top 4 contenders. They did play well in many losses, lack of finishing has been discussed all year, and I thought the dramatic 4-4 draw with Pep-City was like Spurs 5-3 Win vs Jose's Chelsea on New Year’s Day 2015, and be the game when the team came together. I was wrong about that, maybe you can say the crazy win v Man United was that game. Now we’ll never know what he may have done with team! If pressure is top 4 and title contenders the next manager may be same story as Tuchel, Potter, Poch ( no matter what you think of any of them), the Chelsea owners/front office, with 2 directors competing with each other, has become a serious problem!

Many don't count the community shield because it's usually towards the end of pre-season games (sometimes there are preseason games in the midweek after the community shield). Historically teams haven't put out strong lineups either in the community shield final, that's why many disregard it. The celebrations at the end are another sign, unless you see penalties the celebrations after that final whistle are often unenthusiastic.

Matisse is one of those youtube football fans who is only good when it's going good, he looks absolutely clueless when it's going bad. At least take a leaf out of Troopz and DTs playbook man, be an absolute pissmonger who is angry at everything, this lost child who can't put a sentence together is embarrassing for us Chelsea fans.
