His daddy taught him well. Couldn't have had a better influence. Didn't grow up like a Lilly livered pansie. Hard and heavy. Developed his own sound. Thank God we have music like this, and several other younger rock bands, to carry on the torch.
@bayesian20072 жыл бұрын
@@bobnellis375 I disagree. Van Halen had its day. It’s over for that style of music, unfortunately. For now he’s up against auto tune, pop garbage and songs that drone on and on with few lyrics and 15 engineers on them. I remain hopeful that he continues carving his own thing and that it catches on and that rock and roll make a resurgence. Van Halen fans (like me since the early 80s; I’m 50) shouldn’t be looking for VH IV through Ed’s son.

Oh yeah! Wolfie brought the goods, and gave good old rock n roll a punch in the face "wake up call"! Great band, great sound, great song writing, awesome vocals. Congratulations Wolfgang and Mammoth WVH. Really exciting to see these guys rise up and kick the door down. Way to keep it real Wolfie. Not riding you dads coat tails, but doing your own thing. I have to admit, the fingering tapping did put a smile on my face, a call back to the great one, Eddie. Very tastefully done however, not a copy cat at all. Props to you Wolfgang! Lovin' it. Mammoth WVH and the youngsters Greta Van Fleet, are keeping rock n roll alive. Well done!

Saw an interview with him and he actually did everything on this album. Write the songs, sang them, did the backing vocals, played every instrument and helped record and produce at the 5150 Studios. I agree with you about him needing to lose the weight. Playing night after night like this can take a toll on the body especially if you’re carrying all that extra weight! I’m by no means a little guy, but I’m carrying about 30 extra lbs. myself and it’s killing me playing drums every weekend 2-3 shows! 😰😰😰
