No. There were sales for coins on July 4th, 11th and 18th last year. I bought Cramo, Champ, Blissey, Shark, Mime, Dura and Azuma. And that's because I already had the other ones. I've been saving coins because of those sales. The only one I still don't have from this upcoming sale is Tree. Still waiting for an Absol sale. Wasn't on sale back then and it's not gonna be now 🥲

Only thing role that you don’t actually need is Speedsters cuz the only spots they fill in a team are jungler (which can be filled with any number of all attacker or all-rounder) and pseudo all-rounder as a top laner

I get that. Thats why I wait the 14 days of no playing to get the Welcome Back event. You need to be a minimum 14 days absent with no logins for that game. Once the event triggers, you get 4k coins after playing one match and another 10k coins 7 days later after completing a majority of the missions for the events. You don't actually get 10k coins as a reward, but what you do get is a box that permanently unlocks a character. All characters in the choice are of the 10k tier. If you already have the character, you get 10k coins instead. So you get 14k coins just for not playing the game essentially. That said, the Welcome Back event will only count the days you are away where the event is not active and the event lasts 2 weeks. So you get an additional 4.2k coins from the weekly amount. I had the same issue with coin grinding in that the releases were coming faster than I could gain coins. I wore me down and I got super obsessed with trying to max out the coin weekly coin limit which was difficult between work and life and not wanting to play Unite every second of my down time. It was just unhealthy. Me and my bro just happened to have stumbled onto this and found that the trigger is 14 days and through painful trial and error found out the hard way it only counts days were the event is not active. I'm not sure how well this method will work going forward though since the time difference between Lapras and Chandelure was only about 2 weeks (Chandelure releases less than a week after Lapras becomes available to buy with coins) which could be a sign that releases could come more frequently and a lot more Pokemon are about to join the roster. If so, then this method, while more reliable than obtaining the weekly limit in 2 weeks, might no longer be enough to keep on top of releases.

Comfey definitely, but clefable is positioning, and slowbro actually is a great solo queue defender. Just don't run surf/telekinesis builds, because telekinesis is most effective in a team stack. Amnesia and scald is great though, especially scald as a secure

I'm not much of a support role user but Slowbro can rake hits and deal them back. I've solo lane with Slowbro a lot. Only times I've been beaten is when I think a teammate got my back only to find out they went to dunk or gain points when I'm against 3 Pokémon sometimes but not always 4. That was... I don't want to talk about it. 🫠

Understandable on Clefable (Kiss Clefable player here) as she has to get quite close to opponents to help out (If you're running Draining Kiss like me anyway) Also Gravity can sometimes be hard to use it's best potential in a pinch when you have something like Zard or Espeon on ya.

Slowbro has solid damage and bulk. I think there are better defenders rn but he’s not a bad soloq pick.

It's worth noting then that Umbreon seems to be available to be earned. Umbreon is included as a puzzle piece in the upcoming Victory by the Dozen event, and based on the text included with those files, once you get enough of said pieces, you can earn a license

I think trevenant is good to new comers, it shows you how to do combos (since you heal up more if you do them good) and you don't have to worry about getting one shoted so you can be a little greedy
