I got a "SUPREME SUSPENSION" leveling kit with dif shims it was about 400. Put it on 08 toyota tundra 4x4 crewmax. 2 1/2 front and 1 in the rear. After 500 to 600 miles no issues retork at this point. Always always have your wheels aligned after installing any suspention parts. Nice vid thanks. Now the Ford looks nice I highly recommend a good reputable kit for any truck.

Both of my trucks with cab lights are going strong. I put them on my 07 and I used a template to drill. 7 years later I traded the truck and no leaks when I traded it. My 15, the seals look good

I have this exact kit on a 6.2L 2019 F250. Learned a lot along the way. Biggest thing is the ride will change. Caster will change and there's things that are absolutely necessary. 1) you will need 2.5 degree caster shims and 2) radius arm drop brackets no question especially on the gas truck with the snow plow springs up front. The geometry gets thrown off alot because the gas doesn't sag the springs as much especially if u have the snow plow springs. It is an instant change in ride quality. I also recommend a dual steering stabilizer. Dropping tire pressure will definitely combat the harshness in ride (stock wheels and tires)

My 94 has never had a roof leak from the clearance lights. My opinion is, if you drive a 3/4 or 1 ton truck...it needs clearance lights lol

I have this exact kit on my gas truck and it does change the ride somewhat. I had to add caster shims and radius arm drop brackets to correct the caster. I think this is especially true if you have the snow plow prep springs as they aren't compressed as much it really throws off the geometry. I swapped out the shocks for Ranchos which didn't do much for the ride. The biggest thing was airing down the tires and adding a dual steering stabilizer. Trust me if you don't try to combat the caster somehow you will not like the ride and get ALOT of bump steer.

Back in 2007 I had a 00 Tundra and bought a 2" coil spacer from Trailmaster. It only lasted 8 months on the truck. Every pot hole, speed bump, and/or rough terrain the suspension would squeak and pop. It changed the angle of the CV joints causing the boots to tare and spray grease all over the place. Also it caused my suspension parts to wear out prematurely. I did install a 1" front differential drop from Fat Bob's Garage and it didn't help. Ended up taking the lift off and had to replace the front struts since one of the strut stud broke off and the ripped CV boots. I was 21 at the time so money was kind of tight. Young and dumb. Rule of thumb, if your going to get a lift research it thoroughly and don't be afraid to drop over $800+ for a decent lift.

@@DeadOnTrail Absolutely. The Bilstein 5100's is a fairly good lift for the Tundra. I got rid of the truck in 2011. Now have an 11 Frontier at "stock" ride height. haha.

I installed a Ready Lift on my F350. I replaced the drag link, trac bar, sway bar drops, new Fox shocks and it drove like crap until I installed 2.6° positive caster shims. Caster is really important for proper tracking.👍

I have a question I just purchased the 2004 F250 Super Duty and I want to do a 2 and 1/2 leveling kit is there a reason why they don't do front and back I wanted to do 2 and 1/2 in the front and 2in in the back is that not the way to go so I just do 2 and 1/2 in the front and leave it like that or do I do the back I'm just trying to figure out why nobody levels the back or bring it up thank you

Biggest leak or condensation comes from a hair line crack in the actual housing from tightening the screws just a little too tight. If you see condensation that's your problem. Other leaks come from the SAT antenna mount and the gasket. The other is from the 3rd brake light location and gasket. I used all weather sealant on all my stuff and no leaks. Couldn't be happier and did my own can lights as well.

I had installed a ready lift 2.5 inch lift kit. Track bar was not installed. My mechanic , very experienced, said the the instructions said it was optional. Called ready lift a d they said the same. Seems fine. Again Mine was a 2.5inch lift not leveling kit. Your thoughts. Nothing seems off but the passenger tire does stuck out a quarter of and inch more than the drivers side. Your thoughts.

Ryan I've got a 2.5" Ready Lift level kit on my 2021 F250. I have 35/12.5R18 tires on the stock wheels. I want to put 35/12.5R20 tires with 20x12 Fuel wheels, but not sure if there's some sort of off-set on the wheels I need to get so it doesn't rub or will it rub?

That’s why I’m going with the Carli 3”Commuter 2.0 suspension system. It’s not cheap by any means but it’s one of the best, it’s going on my 2018 Ram 2500 4x4 CC SB running 35” tires, mainly used for towing my 35ft travel trailer.

I’m going with Bilstein 5100s on my 5th gen Ram with Off Road Package. They don’t require control arms according to Bilstein if you don’t set them any higher than 2” lift setting with the ORP. It will be 3” total over a regular Ram.

Wish I came across this video in April when I put a 2.5" leveling kit on my 2018 F150. Wore through the 2 front tires before adding the camber kit. Luckily I had already saved up for new wheels and tires and got some money out my OEM set-up. I will make sure to tell all my F150 buddies who plan to level to add that camber kit.

Your supposed to get alignment right after you install the leveling kit and the alignment shop will tell you of it could be aligned or you need a camber kit, uca, ect.

4x2 should be the same suspension as the 4x4 the advertised lift height may differ when completed however!

Lift kits are made to accommodate stock geometry with the longer knuckle. However upgraded UCA’s never would hurt!

I have a 2012 f150 with a 2.5" Max Trac spacer levelling kit in the front, nothing in the rear. Tires were aligned with no signs of rubbing, and I have had no current problems with this levelling kit. However, what would be recommended to prevent any future wear later down the road?

My truck is stock just replaced rear leaf springs with the f350 leaf spring with the overload spring. It seemed to jack it up a little. Truck rocks from side to side on the highway figured id level it out with new coils and mayb that would help with the rocking

IMO The best level kit on the market is the Cognito kit. I used the stage 6 kit that included upper control arms, Fox 2.0 shocks, level keys, idler arm, pitman arm extensions from NorCal $1585. Yes it is more than most but it’s keeps the factory ride for someone who’s not looking for a 6-10 lift. Nice videos man keep up the great job.

Go with the 2.5 inch bds because on these trucks they need more caster stock. When you level the superduty without new radius arms or radius arm drop brackets it messes with the caster and causes death wobble. It also gives you an adjustable track bar instead of a track bar drop bracket, which would cause bumpsteer.

Loosed the collar on your drag link and twist forward or back! Check the wheel and Adjust till wheel is straight adjust it left or right whatever is closer to center!

Hey bud what would you recommend. Looking to level my 5th gen ram. Ready lift has a 2 inch leveling kit with upper control arms for $600.00. There is also a mopar 2 inch level with fox shocks and upper control arms and track bracket included in the kit that's 1,100 for that kit. Which one would you choose. I had no clue I should get a new drop bracket for my ram since it’s lifted. Can you take a video tomorrow of what your rams new drop bracket looks like for comparison!

hello ryan, subscriber here, never own a truck, so am looking to do truck build 6'' lift kit ( probably bds) anyways, is there video on do's & don't's on beginners on lifted trucks?
