Very good point here. During a recent stream with Don, I learned this. He gave me some info the hard and fast way, the way we NEED to hear information as new devs. Take your lumps and get over the humps! Success is just past that!

I think normalisation of imposter syndrom in IT partially comes from the fact that we do have a very high amount of learnable things (different frameworks, languages, methodologies etc) and they change all the time, and new things appear constantly at a rapid pace. Its physically impossible to know everything, and in all honesty this is fine. As long as you're confident in your technological niche you should be fine. However, if you are psychologically predisposed to imposter syndrom this is where things can get bad for ya. I guess what I'm saying is that imposter syndrom does always stem from your mental shit, but working in IT can increase the risk of it happening due to fundamental impossibility to know everything.
