Just wanna tell, Kung Fu Panda was has the best villain all of the time for me. Like, in every movie, all the vilain is just so perfect. Their back story, their personality. It's truly masterpiece

The funny thing about Kung Fu Panda 1&2 is Oogway being the cause of Tai Lung’s escape and The soothsayer causing the death of the Pandas

In Secrets of the Five, we learn the backstories of the Furious Five. While all are good, I'm pretty sure Tigress' is most relevant here. She was abandoned at an orphanage as a baby. And as the only carnivore among sheep, pigs, geese, and bunnies, everyone was terrified of her. Combine that with her temper and inability to control her own strength, and she was very lonely for most of her childhood. It wasn't until Shifu came, and showed her how to control her strength that she stopped calling herself a monster and he took her in as a student. So it's safe to assume she absolutely has parental and abandonment issues, and VERY much identifies with Po.

i grew up with kung fu panda but i just saw this movie for the first time this past week. dont know why i never saw the sequel as a kid but DAMN i missed out hard, i honestly like it more than 1 even with the nostalgia behind that. kfp2 is a masterpiece forreal

I love the contrast between Tai Lung and Shen. In the first movie, Tai Lung clearly respects Kung Fu, but he feels betrayed by it, and wants revenge. Shen fears Kung Fu, and wants to destroy it. He has no respect for Kung Fu and would rather fight using his own methods.

There's a short Kung Fu Panda movie called Secrets of the Furious Five, which looks into the backstories of each of the Furious Five. In it, it's revealed that Tigress grew up in an orphanage where she was feared for her strength until Shifu came along to teach her to control it and eventually adopt her. After watching that movie, I've always loved the hug she gave Po. The questions of 'who am I?' 'why was I abandoned?' 'what happened to my parents?' are ones that Tigress would have asked herself and answers she probably would still want. She's hardcore, sure, but she's still (for want of a better word) human underneath. She wants to know her own history as well.

No a scar is usually left from a bad wound and even though the wound closes up and heals you'll always have some marking or scar showing where the wound was. I guess it would work the same for emotional wounds and scars. Even though you can learn to live or move on from most emotional wounds some of them leave emotional scars and will always kind of be there in your mind to some degree

I find it interesting that Shen gave up and just accepted death. Really deep character. If you look closely you can see that he cut the threads on purpose. I think Shen was just hurting so much inside that he knew he couldn't come back.
