Like LJ... y'all are great players... y'all just never had the right help and that put double the pressure on y'all to perform and win. It's your time, family! So glad!🤗💕🎉🎊 LET'S GO! Probably one of the best offensive scorers of all time. Had he chose to join a super team for the easy ring his legacy would be viewed different. But any body who denies his game didn’t watch him play in his prime. Literally had a way to score from every spot on the court
@samhartje7233 жыл бұрын
He isn't a very scalable player in my opinion. He’s an extremely ball-dominant player that doesn't have very good passing chops. His offense revolves around inefficient mid-range fadeaways after he eats away the shot clock with his jab-steps, which leads to a very predictable and stagnant offense, with little complexity and movement.
@livefromthemotherland3 жыл бұрын
@@samhartje723 that wasn’t until the knicks. Where he’d hold the ball to make a play. You notice star players on bad teams did that until they got help and trusted their teammates. Ai Kobe Jordan etc. cause that wasn’t his play style when he got Chauncey on the nuggets or jason kidd on the knicks. I wanna say he shoots 45% from the field in his prime which is good for a volume shooter in a much more defensive era than we have now . Essentially a lot of the criticism for Melo is narrative . Out of context stats shouldn’t shape a players whole legacy
@kushberry66793 жыл бұрын
@@livefromthemotherland Wise words my man. People always are accusing him for slowing down the offense or being a ball hog but they don't EVER mention the teammates Melo had all these years in his prime. Melo is a scorer, but he can pass the ball when needed. In NY he didn't have nobody to pass the ball to so he settled with ISO plays all game long. Also, when you're so good at mid-range shots and post moves, it isn't inefficient. Overall it is in inefficient, but when you're so good at it, there's no such thing
