The love of my life, Lilo, was my tuxedo kitty who passed away in September 2020 from tracheal cancer. We had 12 years together, lived in 4 different cities in 3 states, countless foster companions, and so many adventures. From the time he arrived in my life at only 3 months old, we got into the routine of daily toothbrushing each morning with Petradex kitty dental brush and edible dentifrice paste. For us, it was very, very routine. For him, it meant a lifetime of clean, smooth, beautiful teeth similar to that of a kitten. For me, it meant nearly no veterinary issues at all with the awesome health benefits that go with a healthy set of teeth...at least, until the untreatable, incurable tracheal cancer showed up unexpectedly and brought our time together to an end. I miss him more than I'm capable of expressing. Kai, Millie, Skye, and Chase have a wonderful home with very attentive guardians.

Fifi, you are truly amazing, you have such a gift, in getting the cats to cooperate with having a bath! And their teeth brushed, nails clipped, and their fur blow dried!! Most people be risking their lives, even trying to do just one of these things!😍😻👍🏻💙

WOW FIFI!! You are so wonderful with all animals.!! Between the calm voice and the love in your heart they always calm down, and are fine. My cat is so afraid of me washing him... terrified. He was abused by someone in this apt building..they had kicked in his head and back end..so I ran down and picked him up...took him to the vet right away... and the vet helped me. with him. Bart is my best buddy , but I am still working with him on trauma......so I am going to place the towel in the sink for him.... he tries to bite me hard..i have to hang on to him.. no treats here right now... that would surely help. It's the running water that frightens them. I prepare at home 2 buckets of luke warm water in advance of taking my cat in to the bathroom, and put a squeeze of cat shampoo in 1, and the other is left fresh. I use a cup to gentle pour the water over my cat, shampoo, then rinse with the cup. If you have space to wash them in a bath or sink without water in the bottom this works better, because it is in their instincts to escape water for fear of drowning. Then the best bit is the snuggle rubs afterwards in a big towel 😻💚

You have such a way with these cats that so powerfully soothing. You truly have a sixth sense with caring for these cats with such respect and kindness.
