I'm Guyanese and yes a large % of us and the rest of the Caribbean is from india. This British brought us to the Caribbean as indentured servants after the abolishing of slavery and the slave trade from Africa. It was basically the British way of continuing slavery using a territory they control because Britain controlled India back then. That's way your friend looks Indian but has an accent similar to a Jamaican lol

in Caribbean countries like Fiji there are a lot of indians...who came to these countries when Britishers took them from India back in 1800s. These people still speak hindi in their own manner and when I first found out I was so fascinated...here is the thing. Indian people don't speak english like that anymore...only those west or east indian people do.

Certain African words and names transcribe to English with the click by identifying it with an explanation point. There's 3 click sounds. !C, !Q, and !X. C is pronounced Tss, Q is a click and X is more of a knock. The Xhosa language is primarily made up of these sounds. It's a very interesting language.

Xobile. If it’s isi Xhosa (common in South Africa) the “x” is a click sound in the side of your mouth with your tongue to your teeth. Like the sound u make for a horse to “giddy up.”

lmaaao at 10:50 he was just exaggerating. there's no real names with exclamation marks 🤣🤣🤣. X is pronounced by making sort of a hissing/click sound with the back of your teeth. the click sound Russell made was wrong because that's a “Q” click sound. there's Q, X and C 😅

My mother is the BEST barterer in the world , if that asian guy was trying to sell her a purse she would"ve had the poor SOB chasing her down the street saying "ok ok ok" and give her whatever the hell she wants for LESS than half of what they were trying to charge. Its amazing and I dont know how the hell she does it. I seen her make one guy cry as he handed over about six handbags for 20 bucks when he asked for 100 and something in the beginning 😂😂😂
