i have one question , when i do needle felting and the wet felted hats iv'e seen, there is always this fuzz, that i cant remove, how do i get rid of it ? because a felt hat that i bought is really smooth

Commercial felt hats are very thoroughly felted, and often sanded. Many wet felt hats I see have stopped being worked at what I would call pre-felt - you have to keep working the felt until it feels like a piece of wet leather. Depends also on using quality fibre, and if all else fails you can shave with a razor or use clippers. Of course a bit of fuzz can add to the hand made charm!

Naveed Etemadipour Hi Naveed. I make them myself. My day job is making fitted furniture so I have access to CNC routers to machine the table. It is made of a 25mm solid surface kitchen worktop material called “Mistal”. The groove slopes from one corner to the other although it has occurred to me that it would probably be just as effective if it were just a level machined channel. The fulling grooves drain into the channel.
