Great review!I always love watching reviews of these rugged phones it seems they always bring some kind of a unique feature to the table. There is definitely a market out there for a rugged phone with premium features. I'd love to see a flagship level phone be able to take a good punch as expensive as they are. My girl and I both have S23 Ultras and have only been using them for 2 months. Both phones now have scratches and cracks on the screens and we are not abusive to them whatsoever. I've never heard anyone brag about Gorilla Glass.

As long as the rural areas have a decent 4G/5G Internet connection, I could do cloud gaming with this phone while camping in the wilderness for a few days, provided I brought my own wireless controller.

Quite impressive in a number of respects but the downsides being no headphone jack (they could have made it possible through the USB with an adaptor) and no image stabilisation is quite unforgivable in 2023! What if someone does hiking videos for their KZfaq/social media? That would probably be a deal-breaker, they need to fix it. Max screen brightness not good enough. What are the drop test results? Because the phone is so heavy this would undoubtedly affect the result. I wonder if they could build a solar panel into it & still have a good drop test result? That would really take it to a whole new level! They could bring out a PRO version. Also a triple tray that could take 2 sims plus the 2TB expansion card would also be super handy 👍⭐. The video performance did not look good looked a little choppy while recording .. the plastic sides they should have made metal and add a lip to the screen to protect it if dropped ... Other besides that looks like a good phone especially 12 gigs of RAM the option to add two SIM cards and removable storage pretty awesome wish more companies would do that nice review video of the phone

My experience - Ulefone make much better utility phones with massive batteries. I have 3 of them. The biggest one I have has an enormous 13,200 mAh inside, which lasts for more than one month on standby without a recharge

I prefer the Unihertz Tank. The light is so useful on it. The OS is also great now, since they updated it a few months after release. Anyway, this is also a good phone, but yeah, Tank wins with the light I think. Tank cons: - It "only" has a 60hz display. But they often say 90-120hz panels can ghost and whatnot, I am not sure if the V Max suffers from that. - No expansion, only the stock 256GB. - "only" 8GB of ram, but it doesn't close apps too much, so it's okay. Like I had 12GB OnePlus phones that kept like 1 app running. Very useful to have tons of ram when you can't even multitask with it. - Bit worse SOC, but it's so effective, I don't mind it. And compared to my Snapdragon 888 and Pixel Tensor, I can't feel any speed difference. Yeah I suppose it is bad at playing Genshin maxed out, but for me, emulators are totally fine if I want to game. Those games feel "complete" at least, without any micro-transactions, gacha and the likes. - The buttons on the left are easily pressed, so if you carry it in I don't know, some bag, they might get pressed in. But you can change the button behavior now if you update the OS (it's over the air, just let it update.) - The speaker is too loud on lowest volume. Like it is SO LOUD. Useful in work environment but if you want to watch a movie or something and someone is around, well, enjoy a loud movie. Tank pros: - It was much cheaper than the V Max when the V Max appeared. Not sure if that's still the case. - The camping light is SO GOOD. I love it. It's a flood light, but very useful for work, walking around, it's just so useful. - The OS of the Tank is super nice. Very AOSP/vanilla like. I get all notifications, I get them better than my Pixel phone. It's just so good. - Battery lasts, weeks. I maybe charged it like .. 6 times since I bought it? It's just so crazy. It just goes on and on and on. (I charged it last Wednesday to 95% or something, now its 73%. That's 3% per day. And it even lights up for notifications now.) - You get tempered glass by factory and you can buy them from Unihertz too. It's just so good it has a perfect fitting glass. I hate to drop 50-100$ on eBay glasses and they don't apply properly, they fall off, they suck. - I never encountered any issues with the software. Like no bugs, no nothing. - Case-wise, you have to buy from eBay and other sites, but they work fine. Thanks for the review!
