Shout out to you for playing on PC and still love horde mode. Most players on Playstation/Xbox were stoked for a new experience type in Eternal, for free. Where as some PC players like hmmmp and others have been disappointed with Horde's reveal because "they didn't even create any brand new maps or levels for it." This reaction likely due to being spoiled from access to awesome mods and new gameplay anytime they've wanted it, literally since the game launched lol. I and many console peasants love this update. We understand there is a limit to what can be done 2 years post launch for free. The amount of content in this FREE update that still grants access to two paid DLC levels/enemy types/weapons/combat, cosmetics, milestones, leaderboards, achievements and a whole new gameplay loop and the other non-horde content is amazing. Radom weapons are easily my favorite part. It forces you to use the mods and get creative with what little you have. I also love how blood punch and grenades are vital in the early waves!

this all i wanted in doom eternal when i first started playing it like after the main campaign i was like i want mooore of this game.

Update 6.66 and Halo updates have made me so happy, not only because 2 of my favorite series got better but also that I don't feel the need to waisted money on trying other games when I'm content with Halo and Doom

i will do this on normal difficulty to get back into the dance and then up the difficulty when I feel ready

Definitely looks interesting, hope my xbox doesn't freeze and kick me out while I'm in the zone. Still didn't expect this mode to be like that. Definitely giving it a try looks challenging and enhances your Doom slayer skills. Very unique game mode, cant wait !!!!!

BTW have you just said free cosmetics?! now, that's great, it makes me a little sad if I compare it with one of my favorites upcoming games Rainbow Six Extraction. It costs $40 but rumors (reddit) said that it'll be highly focused around a MTX in-game store with paid skins only (in R6 Siege you can win those paid skins with an earnable currency, avoiding spending real money, but it looks like is not possible in Extraction) For me, winning skins just grinding adds a lot of replayability to games, glad to see is a thing in Doom Eternal

This game is wonderful. The best FPS ever made. I used to hate it's plot but after some serious reading I learned to love it for what it is: A reinterpretation of the events that brought us DOOM. I was too tied to the old Doom plot. But the true is that it simply changed.

That's a bummer that using the BFG negatively impacts your score. I understand the challenge part but if I have to use it to survive then I will use jt.

Just watching it gives me a headache. Do they have an epilepsy warning for this game? So many bright colors all the time. I love the classic dooms but my body unfortunately does not have the minimum hardware requirements to play this 😞

I will for sure say that horde mode is the highlight of update 6.66 and I love it to death as a break from Ultra nightmare practice and master level completions. I did try the new overhauled battlemode and for me it doesnt click. In concept I like it, execution not so much because they tie cosmetics to wins and win streaks as both demon and slayer, along with having limited time to get said cosmetics. Beyond the negatives I have with battlemode (which when I get alter of glory I'm retiring from PvP multiplayer) I think this update was good and I cant wait for more

You know call it what you will but I'd software continues to impress with the quality of its games and they give out so much free content and just the customization alone from the what would be called battle passes and other games are crazy like it's so cool how much personality they have and how they don't cost you a dime and if you want to go back and buy it you can but it's not some outrageous price and I have no problem supporting this game anytime ever because compared to like Call of duty battlefield whatever the other shooters are you don't see this level of quality or care or personality or customization I mean these guys are just beyond Activision EA etc and those dumbasses should pay homage to ID software because by all definition their shooters are doom clones as is most are after Doom do you put shooting on the map so many games in a sense have drawn inspiration again from Doom whether they realize it or not, and man was I so happy to see a horde mode trailer and their trailers again are so quality and get the hype going this game is amazing and that's coming from someone who plays a whole lot of Call of duty and battlefield but it's like damn I just save her and I enjoy and I don't let it get old so when I hop back in I see all the pretty colors and blood and guts and the way the game's AI is so smart and relentless and I use this game to warm up against playing real people usually like to set the difficulty to ultraviolence at least or above and it's like you know I got to hand it to them as frustrating as it may be at times I do get my ass whooped by the AI more than a human player could ever kill me so that's saying something a lot of love and care went to this game and I remember at lunch I had waited a week because my bank account was being stupid and the money went deposit on my card cuz I wanted to buy this day one but not only did I buy it soon as I could I also bought the season pass and whatever just to support these guys cuz they more than deserve is this game perfect no there's really no such thing as perfect is this game one of the best I have ever seen and enjoy tremendously yes! Anyone who critiques this game are just people who just like to ride the usual bandwagon of the shooters on offer and have no idea the mistake they make when they overlook this awesome awesome title!
