I still wish they released the reveal suit for eternal. Liked that it looks like his classic armor but still Praetorized.

I mean you can kinda get it by beating the super gore nest master level on classic mode. It's the eternal suit with a classic inspired colour scheme. It's as close as you can get to the reveal suit

Im glad we got the color scheme we did for the final Eternal default, but the reveal trailer one would have been a sick recolor skin.

The Classic Green recolor (SGN ML Reward) looks pretty similar to the colors seen in the reveal

2 things, the first suit is the model for the cancelled Doom 4 marine The E3 reveal trailer suit in fact we’ve saw it recently, is the one that appears in the official 30 anniversary pic

I am aware of the Doom 4 marine suit, however I never realized the suit from the 30th anniversary wallpaper was the E3 reveal suit. Good observation!

It's very similar to Eternal's final design, you can see it again in the 30th anniversary wallpaper. There's not enough differences for them to add it as a separate skin

He always had a helmet, classic Doom just puts his face on the HUD and has some imagery of him helmetless like the episode 4 pic and the D2 and PS1 cover (Also an unused D64 box art cover). Meanwhile, D3 the marine goes helmetless except for BFG edition's lost mission. But early D3 could've given him the helmet.

@@Nutty151An obvious reason is "different guy" but people forget that Doomguy was supposed to be a nameless blank slate (hence the 2 marines on the D1 box art, also "Doomguy" itself is a fanmade term) and the series never really considered a "universe" or "lore" at the time.

@@Sniff738 So Doom 3 is technically more of a reboot, even though it was branded as a sequel. Back in 2002-2004, it was not common yet to reuse the name of older games with the year in parenthesis for reboots (ex. Doom (2016), Quake (2024), Halo (2027), etc.).

Not exactly the same, but beating the master level of the super gore nest on classic mode gets you a classic color scheme version of the praetor 2.0, not identical to the classic scheme, but it matches well enough and its nice to see

the reveal trailer suit for doom guy looks almost like a modern take on the og doom guy space marine suit, could have been an intentional wink nudge moment from the devs considering they canonized doom 1 thru 64 in eternal

We got a full look at it in the 30th Anniversary wallpaper, it's essentially just a slightly different version of the final suit but with lighter greens, less browns and a grey helmet

That D4 skin doesn't really look like a space marine, more like an Earth soldier. I do love the various equip launchers, specially because they sort of hint at different types of items that obviously weren't added. Still weird they made Doomguy's hair darker or didn't carry over the grey/white colored helmet, when that's be fanservice to people who wished the 2016 Praetor suit/Slayer was a bit more like classic Doomguy. (plus, all those Master Chief comparisons) There's benefits of the Slayer having his own differences from the OG marine but the classic skin (From QC) is carried over but not the classic face in QC, somehow.

Nope! That's just a recolor of Eternal's default skin. The teaser suit is a different model, and it reappeared recently in the 30th Anniversary image

Pretty sure the reveal suit is the Quake Champions Slayer Arena skin, just recolored and slightly modified. Note the similarities with the shoulder pads and the helmet.

That is completely incorrect! The reveal suit is incredibly similar to Eternal's final suit just with minor differences, the suit recently appeared in the 30th Anniversary wallpaper

For me, is that they don’t bring back old collab skins, and I get sick of waiting. They haven’t bring street fighter back or resident evil skins so, I stopped playing last season, and now I’m enjoying single player games and other online games like outlas trial, street fighter 6, At least those devs care about their games. So this is end of fortnite to me. And I think that Fortnite if finally starting to die amd is the developers fault or at least whoever lead the item shop
