On 1st December 2016, I teamed up with two incredible musicians; Matt Halpern (Periphery) and Sascha Dikiciyan (Composer on Quake 2) to perform a medley of songs from the DOOM soundtrack along with the first ever live performance of Decent Into Cerberon from Quake 2. This crowd cam footage, courtesy of Steven Bell, captures the vibe from the great crowd at the Microsoft Theater.

Pretty much the last time it happened (before becoming more commonplace to do so) was with Halo. After that, we had retroactive concerts of Nintendo (and others) music, then some from other modern games that had grand orchestral music. But, Halo and DOOM were two of the notable titles that made people go out of their way to make a live event happen for their respective soundtracks. Which is awesome, considering they are almost exact opposites of each other, emotionally and musically speaking (in certain respects, I guess). :P

Александр Родин, eaeadgbe - Guitar Tuning. Для человека из России, то есть теья, расшифрую. e - ми, a - ля, d - ре, g - соль, b - си. Британская (вроде) система нот.

Spakes Channel а, про ноты я знал, просто впервые такую запись настройки гитары вижу, даже не задумывался, что на восьмиструнной она варьируется (но теперь это выглядит очевидным)

Man, this must have been a great experience live. My two favorite pieces from the new Doom OST and Descent into Cerberon as an icing on the cake. Respect to everyone involved in the act, you were fantastic. ;)
