The reason i like the matchup is they both have strong bases but can power up to god tiers the reason i think hulk wins that marvel has not had any real retcons that affect the entire verse like dc does only character pacific ones like strange an beyonder so you could scale hulk to his strongest versions without needing to composite him like doomsday

I like this matchup because both Doomsday and Hulk are creatures of pure rage the madder Hulk gets the stronger he gets and if he manages to kill Doomsday he'll come back even stronger than before and you can't kill Doomsday the same way twice and personally despite what you may think I think it would be a damn good battle.

It just depends on which incarnations you use. TOBA Hulk vs. Doomsday = TOBA Hulk Immortal Hulk vs. Doomsday = Immortal Hulk World Breaker Hulk vs. Doomsday = World Breaker Hulk Savage Hulk vs. Doomsday = Can go either way Grey Hulk vs. Doomsday = Doomsday Professor Hulk vs. Doomsday = Doomsday Maestro Hulk vs. Doomsday = Doomsday Also, for the record, I see your point about using Hunter Prey Doomsday in that it's just his next story or current version after being killed by Superman. However, if you're going to go by that logic, then it's not really fair to use Savage Hulk when Immortal Hulk is the current incarnation of Hulk.

You confuse versions with the personalities of the Hulk. Just for you guys now, Devil Hulk (Imortal Hulk) is not a version of him, is a personality and his power comes from........the Hulk. Hulk is Hulk. I could put Green Scar (WBH) or Devil Hulk against any character....no one can say "oh those are diferent versions from the Hulk"....because who knows the Hulk would say "no...those are personalities and Hulk can switch them almost at any time". Depending on the personality Hulk can beat Doomsday very easily. The Savage Hulk (the most common personality of the Hulk which is not even the most powerful one) has very chances to win against Doomsday, at least on the first fight.

I would be down for mangog vs doomsday. I do think mangog would wash a consistent doomsday as a consistent doomsday is a team buster and is above Superman but mangog consistently is on the level of sky father level beings.

@@Gizz_Sauce22 not necessarily, team busters like thanos can’t really do anything to weakened sky fathers. Thanos fought tyrant and was losing pretty badly to tyrant even though he had some artifact that was giving him an amp. Tyrant would be equal to a weakened Odin, mangog was able to beat a weakened odin which should put him on tyrants level.

@@vogswanano you don’t. Hulk would best Doomsday once or twice. Then it’d be enough for Doomsday to adapt and he wouldn’t get beat the same way again. Doomsday arguably scales higher than Supes and even Supes would beat Hulk

@Artercay Except there have been two different characters whose powers were specifically designed to adapt to anything--yet they could not adapt to the Hulk. Darwin for instance has the power to never be able to die because of his adaption. He was able to adapt to turn Werewolf By Night back into Human Form and was able to adapt to Hela; the Goddess of Death (who scales to a Skyfather level entity) and yet; was not able to adapt to the Hulk. Hulk also has adaption and infinitely gets stronger as the fight goes on. Since he has the Infinite Strength and Adaption of his own; he can infinitely kill Doomsday. Especially with Immortal Hulk being a thing--since he literally can't die now.

Love your channel. Hope to see you grow more. I’m also a HUGE Hulk fan. For some constructive criticism, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t use their strongest forms in this fight. Few characters push each other to their limits like these two. Hulk’s strength is limitless and doomsday can’t die. So…. Two literal plot devices which is why fans debate this one. I would argue the consistency point doesn’t apply because hulk literally has a series dedicated to him and doomsday doesn’t. Hence, we don’t have nearly as many scans to go over with Doomsday. Plus Hulk is a good guy so we have a lot of stories where he loses and overcomes based on writer’s intent, so more lower showings or instances of jobbing. Doomsday is more like a literal walking plot device in that his powers don’t make sense. So yeah, he’s more consistent because he needs to be an actual threat to superman. When Hulk is written in the same manner, he is equally and if not, more unstoppable. So I feel if you cut the fat with this one, Hulk stomps Doomsday. ESPECIALLY if you include the new Ewing lore and what Cates is planning. Plus…. Didn’t DC themselves admit Hulk wins this one?

@@Kingshoutout-lw5gl I’m just saying Hulk has been around longer and is a protagonist, so the writers try to depict him overcoming something, which means he’ll lose to things or have a shitty showing because the stories would suck otherwise. Hulk was recently “killed” by an explosion from a possessed Rick Jones. He also recently got his arm chopped off by Black Panther while in a fight with the Avengers. That should never happen. Same applies to Superman. Which is why the consistency argument is a dumb argument. Doomsday doesn’t have a dedicated book and writers try to push him as a heel on stories, so of course he has more consistency. He’s only been in a handful of stories in comparison to decades of monthly continuity. In that regard, Doomsday is more consistent than Superman, or Batman, or Doctor Strange. And Hulk does have better feats, just also in addition to lower lows and odd one off moments where he’ll job for someone else. I don’t think DC has used Doomsday to job as much as Marvel has with Hulk. Consistency argument would be more appropriate angle with two characters with similar bodies of work. So Spidey and Wolverine. Or Two golden age heroes. Goku and Superman. Hope that clarifies.

Does it matter why he was designed? Hulk was a accident, with know particular cause. Does that make him less than Doomsday because he wasn't strategically planned. In my opinion that's more dangerous because he's unknown, as well as his limits. I have know doubt that Doomsday is more than capable of beating the Hulk, but Hulk is also capable of beating him as well.

Maybe if he had a body made of uru and another unobtainium like supermandium or amazonium, he would probably be invincible to doomsday too. Ultron has taken over multiple universes at the same time before, so it's possible he could get his hands on some, not to mention he also gets smarter each time he comes back, and he started off smarter than Hank Pym.

I thought the reason Hunter Prey isn't counted is because Doomsday actually was permakilled when he was thrown to the end of time. And the Doomsday we've seen since literally isn't the same character. Doomsday normally resurrects after dying but he didn't there. I'm getting this from WebCamParrot's video in Doomsday.

I think in death battle situations hulk is very beatable if someone is city destroying level and above, but the thing is hulk gets stronger the longer he fights, I think hulk starts out building level but drag out a fight for 10min and he'll reach planet level and so on.

But it was my understanding that True Form Darkseid was an archetypal being that was far beyond the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, Doomsday... was it an avatar or True Form Darkseid that faced even the antimonitor? And Doomsday is greater than Mr. Mxyzptlk as well. Isnt he beyond Doomsday as he can literally do anything he wants? Sorry for asking so many questions. I'm only 2 years into comics and trying to understand DC scaling. I'm still a noob basically

Let's be real! Doomsday's biology guarantees Hulk can only defeat him once. Period. And if he can!? You all forget that DD's body evolves as he goes along. His body, if Hulk can't put him down quickly, EVOLVES INTO HULK'S WEAKNESS! Even a weakness Hulk maybe doesn't realize he has!!!!! If you're talking DD at his strongest, there is NO WAY Hulk wins. I don't care which version you're talking about except for the one multi armed version that was a one and done story. DD, after a long drawn out fight will have evolved to defeat the Hulk at his weakness. And also, last thing that is insta kill, DD travels faster than speed of light! Hulk does not!

You are not a unbiased as you thought. Hulk destroyed an entire universe with one punch while in your defined cannon level consistency. He destroyed an asteroid twice the size of earth. Hulk has never gone 100%. Doomsday on the other hand never stops going 100%. Doomsday and hulk both evolve. Hulk gets stronger and more durable the madder he gets. It is geometric growth. Doomsday can't evolve fast enough to overcome that.

The hulk's ability to absorb any radiation and convert it into more physical strength is often ignored . Doomsday gets stronger and adapts to what killed him , so hulk may not be able to beat him in a second fight ... but hulk keeps getting stronger, even without the rage boost .

Hulk at post transformation would lose against even X-Men level beings but the one thing you don't want to do with Hulk is prolong the fight because that is his greatest asset, Hulk can infinitely grow stronger than his opponents, faster and more durable. Hulk has adaptation powers aswell but he doesn't quite evolve to his enemys weakness like Doomsday did with superman and martian manhunter. Doomsday is amongst Superman level in stregnth which is impressive and will allow him to compete with Hulk but he still has a limit to his stregnth he cant get stronger and Hulk would become more dominant in stregnth as the battle goes on but Doomsdays reactive adaptation and rapid evolution increases his invunerability to the point where he is imune to all physical attacks so Doomsday has no limits to his adaptability. So basically its a unstoppable force (Hulk) vs immovable object (Doomsday) situation Hulk can grow stronger and durable but Doomsday can adapt and grow imune and more invunerable to attacks.

Funny thing is that they literally called Superman to evolve over and over again Stacy likhatani genetics are based on the genetics that went into making doomsday what was learned from Doomsday's Evolution over the course of 30 years. Thing is Superman evolves much slower than doomsday does and Doomsday's fourth-story doomsday Rex Superman just whooped a version of Doomsday like it was nothing
