McJorneil I can see why they removed the “Nemesis (USA/CA/PAL region) and/or Last Escape (Japan & Asia regions) because Nemesis himself was completely downgraded in the remake. It wasn’t even about him. It was too focus on realism that completely destroyed the third installment to the original trilogy. Just disappointed in certain areas they cut out. Along with gravedigger. But hey, the remake was a good game. It wasn’t bad, but it was decent.

@@davidgallardoiii8079 I enjoyed what I played, but it definitely should have been a longer game. They cut more content than they added and that's the most disappointing part about the game for me.

Isn’t this theme still played in the battle where Nicholai forces you down into the arena to face nemesis in his beast form? I thought I remembered that, or at least I know I felt like it was playing

3 remake was disappointing as fuck especially as someone whose favorite classic title was 3. Great tie-ins to the story of 2 and the Nemesis starts off really strong in the game's intro but as for everything else, awful. I cannot think of a game with more squandered potential. As for an RE4 remake, that would be interesting to see, but it shouldn't be a priority with how often it gets upgraded ports to new consoles even to this day. They should be remaking Code Veronica or 0 first, which need the remake treatment much more badly than 4 does. Especially Code Veronica, that cartoonishly awful voice acting...

The best part about this fight is hearing him try to say "STARS" after his head falls off. All you hear is just some strained wheezing.

I've noted the following changes to Nemesis following the first acid shower and the following ones during the fight... 1st phase Nemesis: two of three tentacles burned off. Aquires limp. 2nd phase Nemesis: looses left arm, is slower, prefers to attack using long range spear tentacle attack. 3rd phase Nemesis: looses head. Attacks the environment at random, goes in the direction of impacts. May die on its own if given enough time.

Actually after Carlos gave Jill the Vaccine and he told her Nemesis was still alive. She came to the conclusion that he was just playing with them at that point.

Lmao despite ustanak’s terrifying strength and brutality, he somehow could be KO’d by jake in hand-to-hand combat in the end. Pretty fucking scary villain. Nice story writing job.

What makes Nemesis the most terrifying in my opinion, is he just doesn't know how to die. Call it a cliché if you want, but the amount of resources it takes just to bring him down is already enough as it is. And just when you think he's dead, you could not be more wrong. Nemesis will not stop chasing you. A monster with that much will for an unending urge just to see you dead by it's own deformed hands would follow you to ever layer in hell and back to make sure you're life comes to an end. And this song, perfectly encapsulates that same willpower of this unyielding monstrosity. You wanna escape Raccoon City? Good luck.

This music kinda makes me sad about Nemmy, especially that part at 1:02. He was just trying to do his job man. He's just a misunderstood creature... The main character of this game and people tend to forget that... Even with his head and arms missing, he was trying to accomplish the mission he was asked for... At the begining, I was afraid of him. But at the end, I was sad about his fall. Only a nuclear weapon could stop him... RiP. Legend 🙏

Yeah I remember on a comic about his backstory about who he was before he became the nemesis I found it sad i’m not sure if it’s canon or not but I like to believe that his backstory on that comic is true

The bgm for this encounter is epic. I think it matches the last fight bgm which captures nemesis' utter dogged determination to kill Jill just like this one. Dub 🍽️!
