I Bought my first Dooney & Bourke bag and my heart was stolen right out of my chest !
This video details my rapid descent into the rabbit hole of Dooney & Bourke including vintage items . I compare prices to Coach bags and style and fangirl while giving an initial review of the Florentine Messenger Bag . This bag also is available in Black with Gold Hardware.

Oh yes Mo can sell a bag! At this point I watch her channel with one eye closed. Florentine leather is the absolute best especially in the natural color. It patinas really well. Enjoy your bag!

I admire D&B a lot (the leather, quality etc) yet haven’t found a bag that I think I would fall completely in love with. I am dying for an elephant color one. I owned a continental trifold wallet from D&B that was sitting in my moms storage for years mint…and it is the best wallet I have ever owned. This one is stunning and I can’t wait to see for the new ones! 🥰

The elephant color is STUNNING (I did get something in that color too 😭) in far down the rabbit hole I want to try a wallet but I also don’t see myself changing back and forth between wallets right now. I love my slim ysl one

I feel the same way about the look and feel of a leather dooney. It was my first bag. In the early 90s….😂….I was a college student and stalked a dooney at the mall. I finally splurged and bought it. I felt like a million bucks carrying that bag. Unfortunately I must have gotten rid of it through the years 😢 your bag is beautiful and your mom is blessed to have such a nice daughter ❤

The price of handbags today , Dooney & Bourke feels severely under priced 😭 these are now the best bags I’ve ever bought. And yes Mother’s Day came early for her and she was so excited to receive it. She registered it immediately and everything 😍

Cute cute cute love your florentine and your denim bag. The straps in the side are adjustable it may be hard to do it. Enjoy your new florentine it’s adorable. Tfs 💕

Thanks for sharing, Dori. Dooney was like Louis Vuitton when I was growing up. There’s a reason people love the brand though. Its great! When I saw the 30% off sale, I checked for a Micro Satchel but I didn’t see any 🙁 your bag is a beauty and will only get better with time.

That was the first thing I looked for too. Their bags seem to be super big so I thought the micro would be the best option .

@@AllOverDori yes,the satchels are large and the names don’t always correspond to size (mini is not mini for example). I have a nano and like it but would go for a micro if I got a 2nd one.

First off, mid 30’s aren’t old. 😂 That means I’m ANCIENT. 🤣 THIS is what handbags do for me. It makes your heart smile!!!! That’s what you’re experiencing. Your heart is happy. 😊 I think this bag is beautiful!!!! The color. The leather. The unique strap. Everything.

It’s so gorgeous! Is it heavy when full? That’s my issue with Dooney but I know it’s because the leather is quality!

So far no issues. I think the twist strap hobo might be heavy when full but this one is fine so far. That’s the main reason I’m getting rid of my MJ The Tote Bag because the leather is amazing but way too heavy to carry on a regular basis
