Hello, i own a Passat b6(2006). The guy i bought it from changed the left and right rear doors. they dont do anything on the sentral lock. Only front doors that work.. do you have any tips for what i can do to fix it?

Hiya. All in my door is functioning but my red warning light and puddle light. Won’t come on. Worked totally fine then one day i noticed not working, swapped out lights and once they reset everything worked but passenger door still the same. I took off door card and done a continuity test from the connection block that leads to the pair of lights, I can get a reading to all but two connections. These I assume is the switch? So when door opened they go live? I tried to get a reading but couldn’t. So question being, is it the control box or is it a wire broken on route? Surely if power in the door, windows, mirrors etc work then a switch or source must be failing? Any suggestions?
