Door County is a HIDDEN GEM in Wisconsin! SO MUCH TO DO HERE!!

We have finally left Michigan after our very enjoyable trip through the state, and are now in Wisconsin. We are visiting some friends that live in Green Bay and the are showing us around Door County.
First stop in the explorations is Cave Point! It is a beautiful county park that is within a state park... Lots of people are jumping off the rocks into Lake Michigan and the views are stunning here! What a great first view of the area!
Stop #2 is in Sister Bay at an interesting restaurant with goats on the roof... well, unfortunately when we arrived the goats had gone in for the day, but we still had a great lunch and local brews. And we were introduced to deep-fried cheese curds... OMG!!!
Stop #3 is Henderson's Dock - this is a famous place where graffiti is actually allowed and encouraged. The entire building, which is a historical building, is covered in signatures!
Stop #4 is a winery! Well, it is a farm that makes wine too... and this place is all about the Cherry! Cherries are what Door County is known for and you can get every type of food and drink with cherries imaginable here! We did some shopping... and left with a freshly baked cherry pie (still warm!!), cherry salsa, chocolate-covered cherries and of course, cherry beer and cherry wine. This is Lautenbach's Orchard Country.
Last stop... a brewery! One Barrell Brewery has a live band playing outside... and they are so good! We end our Door County adventure here. What a great day!

Lautenbachs is our favorite "must stop" every time we're in Door County. We always leave with at least one case of wine. After watching this I'm going downstairs and bringing up a bottle of Honeycrisp wine!!

Yesterday, I just happened to view you two showing you camping cute couple. Door County, 5:14 5:14 best ,and huge apple turnovers ever at Seaquist Orchards, Ellison Bay. I used to run15 miles up to Door Co. once a week when I lived in Algoma Wisconsin. Now I'm in the U P, and it is even prettier up here ,but less touristy. The Great lakes area has cool summers, and doable winters.😊

Hope you visit the Wisconsin dells area, and then come on down to Illinois!!! Galena is a beautiful area, and then swing by Chicago, do a Lake Michigan boat ride , and see the beautiful downtown skyline...

Now you're in my neck of the woods. Did you get a Tommy Bartlet's Water Show bumper sticker put on your car? They used to go thru the lots and put them on every car. Oh it closed, it was a staple of our camping trips. 😢

I live an hour south of Green Bay in Appleton Wisconsin. We love Door County! They have great Fall festivals up there. Glad you enjoyed Door County!!

Glad you liked Door County. Cave Point is one of my favorite spots and so is Door Bluff Headlands. Both are county parks. For wineries Von Stiehl is my favorite as they have a lot more than just the sweet wines that are all over the county. and there are some good tap rooms in Door County as well.

Hi EECC Travels, I love your content! Great work! My husband and I are from Ontario, a mid sized town near Toronto and love travelling. A few weeks ago I watched your video on Put-In-Bay and was intrigued! So we jumped in the car and drove the six hours to get there! We stayed at the Put-In-Bay Condos right on the lake and totally loved it! A week later you did the video of Mackinac Island, guess where we are now! Thanks again for the wonderful travel tips. ❤️❤️

One of my favorite places. Make sure to try their apple beer. Only made a certain time of year and its DELISH!! Also cherry beer. Yum

I lived north of Chicago for 10 years. Everyone goes to Door County but we never made it there. Kinda bummed we didn't take the trip!

You need to go to Racine to O and H for Kringle and then to Kenosha for the restaurant called the Spot and pizza Infusinos

So excited to see You enjoyed familiar sites in Door County!! Love that you enjoyed the cheese curds and your tasting stops! Next time you will have to check out the art shops!!
