Hell ya Chris! What folks don't realize it that without feral honeybees we'd be better off. Without native pollinators we'd be dead.

My advice: Get a CO2 tank, poke a hole in the cavity and knock 'em out. Doesn't harm honey or wax. Far fewer stingers, less alarm pheromone, safer for nearby people & animals. Harvest honey & wax. (you have about 10-15 minutes before they wake up) Then spray them with soapy water (like Dawn). They die. No pesticides needed. It works.

I tried Co2 and froze them in the hive a couple of times. Shocked the hell out of me when I started removing the comb and they thawed out and started attacking! Also super expensive.

Not really. The problem is getting too close to a hive (100yrds). Day or night or even 25 degrees F. They don't care. Don't let that stop you though! Carry a head net with you!

Good question! The comb comes from one hive that you see us remove, never to be replaced. It was made by Africanized honeybees in Cochise County, hand wildcrafted and hand cleaned. Again each hive is from a unique location and situation never to be duplicated! Therefore that is the ONLY one! Rarest in the world.
