If Doordash wants us working within zones, they shouldn't allow orders outside that zone. But they're greedy, so they'll let these customers order ice cream from 12 miles away on a 90 degree day.

If you don't get all the options, it means you need to move closer to the restaurant, then your 10min clock starts

What do we do when 90% of drivers are all platinum? I went from 87% to 73% because all I got was trash.

When I walk in the resturant they bring the worry free up but I noticed they made me wait more than 10 mins when I hit 85% on some

Drive thrus so jacked up last night.. Soo I decided what the hell ? Maybe I will try pay by the hour. I was in the drive thru so long, They added an additional order. $32 for 2 Taco Bell orders. One of the Taco Bell customers asked me to cancel their order. Because I informed them it was going to be awhile. I explained " I'm not able to cancel the order, All it will do is assign the order to another driver." - if they cancel it on their end I still get paid.. (And no way am I sitting in that drive-thru with for all that time and not getting paid.) - but I'm not telling them that..

I’m on platinum. And they sent me outside of the zone for 26 bucks. I ended dash. Pick another zone and “dashed along the way”

I’ve been wondering about this , I think the program IS in my area because I see tiers and such , but I find dash now is available still and I STAY under 25%AR . It updates every 10 minutes even if it says Dash now unavailable, I just wait 10 mins and it’ll pop up 🤷🏽‍♀️ is there ANOTHER tier coming out? I’m in a pretty decent sized market so I wonder if dash now depends MOSTLY on how many dashers are Available/online more than anything? Or a whole new program all together??? Hope this makes sense.

I been dashing in Tuscaloosa full time the last 6months. We just went to the “pilot program” 2 days ago. Will be trying it out in my hometown this weekend with heavy volume.

if you are in a good market that has the big orders, then having the high AR and platinum is great. I have been getting large orders for 30+$ that i have never seen before. The lower tiers won't even be showed those large orders. I have been getting them consistently as well. Also scheduling ahead seems to help get those large orders.

When someone orders far away from the restaurant, after i get to the restaurant, i call the customer and ask if they are aware it's going to take an hour to drive it to them and ask if they still want it -- 9 out of 10 say no. So, i tell them to cancel it (and I wont pick it up) and reorder from a closer restaurant Then, I call support and get the $3. In 9 out of 10 orders, they cancel. On the one that doesn't, I take it if its okay and cancel if it's not. You should try it!

Platinum doesnt give you dash now in every market. in a lot of markets it just gives you access to the schedule 2 days earlier.

I don't know about your area but in my area you need a 96% completion rate to be in the green

Your rating doesn’t matter. Waiting to dash now and cherry picking orders works if you live near a hot spot. Van life is a way to immediately live near hot spots.
