As a person with A-1000, hearing A-60 in The Hotel gave me PTSD.

For those who use A-1000 modifiers and haven’t played A-1000, if you get A-90 (the stop guy) while an entity is coming, that entity will be slower to give you a chance, don’t know if it works for rush and ambush but it definitely works for A-60 and A-120

As a "hotel hell" haver, i can tell you went for a harder kind of game, while i went to a safer one. I could still get gold but it was harder of a way overall. Anyways, congrats!

EDIT: I COMPLETELY CHANGED THE MODIFIERS SO HERE THEY ARE Bad Electrical Work (this is just an easier Electrical Work - more rooms may be dark but that's not a problem) El Goblino's Payday (gold isn't necessary) Out Of Stuff (the pre-run shop will carry and items aren't necassary) Gone Fishing (the only real downside of this modifier is the seek chase sequences. just pay attention, which you shoukd anyway if you're doing this) Soundproofing (does anyone REALLY need sounds for keys, books and fuses?) Locked And Loaded (only 20 - 30 rooms a run are actually locked. previously, i was using Key Key Key Key, but i found out that that just takes *way too long* ) Nowhere To Hide (there's plenty of places to hide. the only reason you wouldn't use this in a hotel hell run is because you're either afraid that it takes away all the hiding spots [which it doesn't] or you're multiplayer) Last Few Breaths (i'm not even sure that there's any entities that don't instakill that do half damage) Bad Time (this is the easiest of the 'Time' series, and they don't even spawn that much more often anyway) I'm Runnin' Here (rush's speed doesn't matter as long as you can hear and see him) Battle Of Wits (record you're run and this is a free 15%) Think Fast (he ain't even that fast) Nosey (yes, bad time will make them spawn quite alot, but eyes is so easy to deal with that it doesn't matter) You Really Can Run (if you suck at seek don't equip this modifier. if you can actually do seek, equip it) Rent's Due (I'm Runnin' Here makes this modifier a free 10%) Roundabout (halt is way too easy, even with this. just stand at the side and his hitbox isn't big enough to reach you) NO ROOMS ENTITIES AS YOU CAN SEE

I'm a bit late, but here's the modifiers I used to get Hotel Hell: -Electrical work -Less Stuff -Last Breath -Soundproofing -Think Fast -Come back here -I'm runnin' here -Roundabout -Stop right there -Back for seconds -Nosey -Bad time -El goblino's Payday -Key key key key I went for a more "slow and steady wins the race" play style and was also a lot more careful on entities like Screech and Eyes since they were harder and could one shot me at any time. Nice work! (Side note, Goblino stole all the gold and the little bastard still had the nerve to say he wished he had a full crate of gold bars >:(

Stopped using the "room for more" mod, since 120 would continuously spawn. Couldn't take a break, and I was never safe in basement rooms. I would wait minutes and they'd keep spawning.

I use these mods, I don't have hotel hell yet but I got to door 80 here are the mods I have: Elgoblino's payday (you don't need gold really) Out of stuff ( you don't need items you should be able to survive the greenhouse with nothing+ you can buy items from the preerun shop Soundproofing Key key key key (this is a free one, some rooms may be dark as long as your good with seek you can have this) Bad time ( doing really bad time is way more harder so just stick with this) Nowhere to hide (even if it says nowhere to hide there are ALOT of places to hide this may get nerfed soon) Last few breaths (just don't take any damage, DO NOT DO TRIPPED AND FELL BECAUSE THERE ARE ONLY ESSENTIAL ITEMS IN THIS RUN SO DONT ENABLE IT) think fast (if you are very good at screech you can do think faster and remove one of the mods) Come back here (figure is faster but it's not really a problem if you enabled think faster then you should delete this mod since if you were this sometimes figure can be bugger out) You really can run ( just longer seek and it just stops you from suffering from the other monsters) Back for seconds (ambush can spawn 1-5 times in this run but it doesn't really matter) Roundabout ( stick to the walls when halt tells you to turn around and keep going the devs will fix this soon) Watch your step (this may be annoying but it will decrease the chance of snares appearing in the greenhouse+ snares won't be in every room
