A head-up display also known as HUD animation is the method by which information is visually relayed to the player as a part of a game's user interface. Hud animations are not only used to display information but they play a very important part in making the UI look more complex and futuristic.
So today we will learn how to create a dynamic hud animation in after effects without using any plugins we will build up our design by using old shape layers!

Just now found this channel, you’re freakin awesome man! Quick tip, AE 2023 doesn’t have the same “Track Matte” options as before… if you select Layer 9, change the mode to “Silhouette Alpha” and you should get the same effect at 9:55

I heard my RAM cried whenever I watched this tutorial. It’s an amazing tutorial! But I’m not gonna try it now since my current pc cannot handle it and I dont really have to create this, but it amazing to know you can make this with AE without additional apps

FYI if you do not see Size, Rotation, & Roundness options for your Rectangle Path it's because you have Bezier Path checked. Create a new shape and deselect the option (top, right). Great tutorial.

2:21 If you go into the graph editor and you don't see the curved graph, click on the icon beside the *eye icon* and change it to *Edit Speed Graph*

Yet another awesome video! Thank you!! The pace is great. To many run thru important steps like the world is ending tomorrow. One wierd thing happend for me, when you got to the 3D orientazion part. AE here is kinda like reverse. +35, flips in the oposit direction here, so I have to go -35 insted of +35 to get the results you are getting. Small thing Small thing, I know :-). Pretty please keep it up!

Nice... The best way to use repeater in order to be properly aligned is to reset the transform rectangle position and anchorPoint. Do not change the layer transform properties... There is a quick way to create a Cam-control: right click the Camera->Camera-> Create Orbit Null...

Your tutorial video is awesome bro but when i tried it to do it myself i get into a problem my timeline hasn't any frames only second as u said add a keyframe at 1 sec 15 frames whattodo now im using ae2019 please help me.
