The Doppelganger Detection Department (D.D.D.) needs you!
There is a vacancy for the doorman position in your building and since you need the money and can't find a job you have no choice.
It's 1955 and for unknow reasons doppelganers are more common than normal, so the D.D.D. has taken action on the matter.
Your job will be to allow or deny the entry of the subjects who request entry to the building, it seems easy, but be careful, you can't overlook any detail because you could be food for doppelgangers.

I noticed also that on her paper she says she was coming back from work, which would be documented, but when asked why she's not expected, she says she had to leave for an emergency. There is a possibility that she had an emergency at work but being a chef I don't see many situations where there would be an emergency that requires her without notice.

Me and my girlfriend played this and we literally only caught a doppelganger for have one number wrong on that long ID number. Everything else was correct they were on the list they looked perfect and they lived alone. The only reason we caught them was because of that mess up on the ID number

Idk the scientific name of the animal, but I'm 99% sure he was asking about the blobfish. They look like normal fish in the deep ocean, but upon decompression they turn into blobs. Imagine if aliens named us after what we looked like when exposed to the vacuum of space

that's not a reliable tell, as they will generally say they either had an emergency or they simply "should be on the list", at least in my experience. The tell here was definitely the nose, and her answering the phone.

I feel like I'm insane. It says at the end "Francis: wrong eyebrows" but I watched it back and his eyebrows are the exact same as on his resident folder. And then it says "Mclooy: Wrong nose" but there was no Mclooy in this video? I even had to look him up because I thought I was losing it.

I think what’s wrong with Nacha is inconsistency, when you asked her why she isn’t on todays list she says that it was due to an emergency, but on the request she wrote that she is back from her job as a chef. A work day is not an emergency, and it’s something consistent, so in that case she should be scheduled, yet she’s not which meant that she was a doppelgänger.

This game needs a proper introduction so badly. To set the stage, explain why it is happening, etc. Just sprinkle some distopia, horror, soviet vibes, and monsters. A one minute clip before the instructions would have made it so much better
