Күн бұрынHere's a clip of Doppelmayr torsion grips attaching and detaching in the top terminal of Sea to Sky Gondola. This lift is a 2013 Doppelmayr gondola with UNI-G terminals. This lift is the longest single stage gondola without any mid stations on the west coast, at 7008 feet.

Just a bit of trivia here, these clamps are not permitted for use in France. I know its something to do with that the grip stays in its 'relaxed', 'unclamped state' during its passage through the station, but nothing more than that.

That’s weird. There are some D-Lines in France, yet their grips are double-position like the DTs.
