2 жыл бұрынHello everyone, a cheeky little Sunday upload for you today. In this video Dora has her first proper jump of the year and her 4th ever jump under saddle. Although I was super pleased with her, she is still VERY green and most of it isn't very pretty! Anyway, I hope you enjoy the realities of jumping youngsters!

She looks EXACTLY like my 7 year old connie mare, rose. Rose wiggles her nose all the time and reminds me of Dora. We live in ireland where rosy was born. Who's Dora's mum and dad they could be related??!?

I love the way at the beginning De gave Hannah the side eye after she asked her if she minded making so much noise as if to say yes I do mind I am destroying what is on my door and with time and work Dora will get the hang of this jumping stuff Dora says sorry mum for making a bit of a mess she says but jumping makes me so excited but she is so cute and can’t believe how dark she was so thank you and can’t wait for the next one

Dora is a brave pony -- no matter how many times she knocked the jumps, she kept going. Thru or over, maybe if I just raise my head -- lol. She got there eventually and by the end the way she was shaking her head, I think she had her mind a little blown. Like, wow, now I know what all the older girls are talking about -- I better start paying attention -- this is serious business. ;)

Okay that was hands down the best unveiling of products I've ever seen haha "She's like riding a bit of over cooked spaghetti down there" xD This was a fab video and I think it's fantastic that you're sharing these moments because the not-so-good moments really need to be normalised. Riding isn't all sunshine and rainbows especially with youngsters and people need to learn to accept that and quit being so quick to judge. I love your approach with all of the youngsters you give them all the time they need and you aren't in any rush to see them reach their potential and that's what makes you such a fantastic horsewoman and a great role model to future riders.

Those PolyJumps aren't just great for green/eco-friendly, they're also great for green/horses! Love that they give so easily. It's a bit nicer on the young horses while they're learning where their feet are. I'm excited for Dora to come along. She looks so much more mature now than she has before.

I've had a couple leotards from dancing and figured they'd be great for riding cause no riding up, right? Yeah, they don't ride up your BACK... 😂Defo didn't work out for me 😂 Really love watching Dora, she's such an amazing pony! Also coming along really well, she'll be fantastic with a bit of practice. And such a lovely personality 😍

She is so cute. Also my pony does the same thing with her head over jumps and something that really helped was a running Martin gale so then I didn’t have to keep my hands so low. You guys look amazing though 🙂

I think using a martingale with Dora would be beneficial. Martingales are one of my favorite tools with young horses as it helps to stabilize their head and they also can't throw their head all over the place which helps with steering and balance. Also it will stop her from throwing her head up over the fence which will help prevent her from hollowing her back
