Vicki bought a house on Hyco Lake in North Carolina when her daughter was living and working in North Carolina a few years back. Hyco Lake is literally out in the middle of nowhere. How do I know this? Well I live in the area. With that said, Vicki has no room to talk. Bluestone Manner puts any of the houses on Hyco Lake to shame. I honestly think Vicki can’t be happy for other women who have more than her.

Vicky was wrong to speak negatively about the home of someone who hosted your stay. Vicky is a very problematic person in general.

Yes Dorindas temper is out of control sometimes. But Vicki is tacky and rude, she only likes new things. She’s also bitter about never having had a wealthy and supportive spouse. I can relate to that but, I make sure not to be a hater towards others who have good marriages/ relationships. I live in Orange County and most of us would love to have space and no visible neighbors. A lot of the homes are cookie cutter here and I think a unique and historic homes are beautiful.

I’m sorry but I don’t want to ditch the “ ole girls” cause ole girls can mentor and help the younger ones. We throw away older people in general. Their wisdom is helpful. They are important. We used to respect older people and successful countries that have happy older people that live in the community and are accepted and they STAY a vital part of the community. Which enriches the community and shows the younger ones you can live a vital older and happy fulfilling life.

To be fair, Dorinda is the one who started the “gifted” house narrative. She has said repeatedly that it was a wedding present given to her by her husband because he wanted her to be financially secure with or without him. He never wanted her to stay for money. So… it’s a little odd that she’s changing her tune now.
