I really didnt like the manager to begin with but over time I've realised he has the 'say whatever i think even if it will upset people' mentality which is why he is so successful

I love this level of football when they concede the penalty the manager reminds the players "relax, relaaaaax" before shouting screaming at them to go "forward, foooorrrrwaaaaard".

Entertaining viewing, keep at it guys. I personally find the swearing factor pretty funny from Marc but you should keep tabs on how many f bombs he drops throughout the season. Like a little number counter in the bottom right hand corner!

I watched all the Charlwood & Holland episodes first. Thoroughly enjoyed them. When I started on Dorking I really though Marc White would annoy the hell out of me. But the more I’ve watched, the more I think he’s fantastic. Great work BoA, all series have been brilliant

There is a big shortage of referees in this country at the moment. That's partly due to covid obstructing training courses and partly because of the disrespect aimed at them by coaches and spectators. More and more referees are now deciding its just not worth the fucking hassle. Great show as always lads.

New subscriber here from Brisbane, Australia and I’m loving your channel and I’m currently playing catch-up! 😀 Is it fairly common for clubs to use artificial turf over there? It’s not common over here and I was wondering how it effects the game play, if there’s a noticeable difference compared to real grass or not? It certainly wasn’t around when I played outdoor. If any subscribers on here know the answer, please let me know! Cheers!!

They can only use artificial grass up until a certain league then the pitches need to be grass the higher up you go

It's definitely different to play on, the ball can be slower. Also you burn your skin fairly easily.

13:56 - HANDLING THE BALL For the purposes of determining handball offences, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit. Not every touch of a player’s hand/arm with the ball is an offence. It is an offence if a player: deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised. Neither of those occurred with the ex-Charlton lad.

@@BunchOfAmateurs I like you're channel, that's why I'm saying it. You clearly have footage from a bit of a height, which makes it easier to see games and it's not jerky. What's the reason for choosing the pitch side view (when having an option of better angle)?

@@londo0 we are making a documentary, not screening a sporting event and aping the sports broadcasters. The handicam footage is a back-up, and not part of our stylistic approach. There will always be a percentage of people that don’t like it. That’s cool. We get it. It’s inevitable. Fortunately for us that percentage is small. It won’t be changing so either accept it, or head to one of the other channels that does give wide angles coverage. We recommend Palmers FC.

Manager doesn’t have that much of footballing insight eh hahaha says vague things like “do the right things” “play in the right areas”. Not exactly a masterclass tactician, unless of course they decide not to leak their in depth tactics on KZfaq for other teams

The tactical analysis is not shown on the show. Their training sessions are really in depth and it shows. The manager knows what he is doing.

@Ragazzo Italiano has it correct. We don’t show much of the tactical stuff, partly to protect some secrets and also because it’s not that entertaining for a lot of viewers. Marc is very tactically astute so we’d like to find a way for him to get some credit for that!
