Actually IMO it would be 1000 times better if Baraka's voice was a top notch Barak Obama impersonation. And then to top it off, he could allude to his time served as president. Come on, we were all thinking of Baraka when we first heard his name, admit it. Baraka Obama should definitely be a MK character, a Baraka from an alternate bizarro universe maybe. Or it could just be that that's actually Obama's true form, if he took off his human mask.

It doesn't make any sense anyway, Scorpion and Sub-Zero are asian too, Scorpion is Japanese and Sub-Zero is Chinese, and even if Raiden isn't a human of asian descent, he's still a god of an asian religion, so that's literally 4 out of 7 of the original playable characters.

"Get Over Here" was one of the best series of all time (except the later seasons where Sub-Zero and Sonya Blade kept breaking up over nothing like over a fork once, over and over again), too bad the spin off "Scorpion" in where Sub-Zero and all his friends move to their own places and he moves to another unfamiliar finding totally new generic characters never worked out ...It's strange when that happens, you would think that breaking up a bunch of FRIENDS and then using only one character would totally fail before making such a thing...
