Hi! Sorry, I am not sure that my answer is relevant now, but most of the dormitories still keep 2 people

Are dormitories available these days? I heard that students are not getting dorms and have to find accomodation on their own.

Hi! It depends on the university, according to COVID regulations, fewer people can be placed into dorms, but there are still offered. Of course, if the university has few places, more students have to find accommodation outside.

Привет!)) у меня вопрос по поводу выдаваемой визы. Скажи, пожалуйста, это же национальная, не шенген? И если да, то можно ли с ней выезжать в другие страны Евросоюза и потом вернуться в венгрию обратно?

Привет, это национальная. С ней можно въехать в Венгрию один раз, т.е. путешествия за пределы Венгрии невозможны. Но через несколько недель (если удачливы - дней) после приезда вы получаете вид на жительство. С ним можно свободно путешествовать по ЕС

According to this: If you decide to live in a flat, the scholarship will give you 40000 HUF allowance for flat + 43700 HUF scholarship. If you live in a dorm, you just get scholarship without accomodation allowance. IS IT BETTER TO LIVE IN A FLAT EVEN BECAUSE LIVING IN A FLAT IS BETTER AND WE RECEIVE MONEY?

Hi! It has two dormitories. You can apply for them at the website. But since the places are limited most of the students stays at private flats/rooms

Hi, you don't get an accommodation allowance if you leave in the dormitory. Instead, you get a free place in the dormitory.

If we decide to live in a flat instead of a dormitory does the scholarship cover the price or give us same amount of money with dorm students ? or does it only supply us 250 euro for everything including dorm or rent?

If you decide to live in a flat, the scholarship will give you 40000 HUF allowance for flat + 43700 HUF scholarship. If you live in a dorm, you just get scholarship without accomodation allowance

Are ELTE dormitories very far from campuses? And what about jobs ? For a bachelor student what kind of jobs are available and what is average wage per hour?

Hi! Elte has many campuses and many dorms. The closest dorm to my campus was 20 min by bus. The farest more than one hour. You can always check the location before applying

As a bachelor you can apply for an internship (20 hours per week) in you field. The average wage is 1000-1200 HUF per hour. You can also get temp jobs like waitressing or being a tour guide and so on.

@@elizatu thanks for your reply . I think BME is gonna be best because there dorms are in city but quality is too low . On same time ELTE has best dorm quality but they are far away and traveling longer on daily basis is a problem for me . I wish I could apply for corvinus or Szeged but they don't provide BA in accounting and finance .

How much does food cost in Godollo? Is 43700 huf enough for only food , i mean cooking for myself?

Hi, last year the inflation in Hungary was very significant. The grocery prices increased for around 40%. I believe this year 43700 huf will not be enough to cover the grocery costs (although it was enough to cover food+transportation couple of years ago). However, it is possible to get a part-time job.

@@safaazaki813 . It was possible to do the master in 2.5-3 years, but I just took a lot of credits per semester and finished on time with others who started normally. I don't know the answer to the second question

Could you please clarify to me which agent? As far as I know there are no agents, but you will receive clear instructions from the university and can make everything by yourself

Hi, students are allowed to work 20h/week. No additional permit is needed, you are allowed to work part-time with student permit.

I lived with my friends. You can look through your friends and find someone with similar interests and lifestyle

Once you are accepted to the dorm, you can send an email to the dorm coordinator. He or she can place you together

Hi, I'm planning to apply for the scholarship for my Master's Degree but since its stipend is not enough I NEED to have a job, Otherwise, I might have to terminate the course and come back. I have a Computer science bachelor's Degree so what are the chances of getting a part-time job in Budapest, Debrecen, or any other city where a decent University is located? Any kinda job will do. thanks

Hi! I will make a video regarding job search. In general, it is possible to find a part time job/internship if you are in Budapest. If you study in other smaller cities it is problematic. Based on my experience, I lived the first semester only on scholarship + some money that I spend on the first month. I was living in the dorm and buying groceries. So, scholarship is enough for covering very basic living. As soon as you adapt, you can find job and live how you want)

Do people speak in English in other cities apart from Budapest such as Pécs?

Professors do speak as well as most of the people attending university. In general, younger people know English, but in smaller cities the majority don't speak

@@sophiaromero6242 do not be nervous 🤗, it's gonna be okay. Hopefully, the distance lessons are over. It was a bit harder to connect when students were studying remotely. But when classes will be running in person, you will be part of international community. It is fun and easy to find like minded)

What are the transportation costs in Budapest ?

It's fixed. 3450 HUF (around 10 euro) per month for students, it covers the whole Budapest and any kind of transport (bus, metro, tram, boat)

Hi, lately there have been a lot of scammers especially in Facebook. So don't send any money to anyone before checking the flat and document for that flat. Hope this hepls
