This sweet looking old lady turned out to be a cold hearted person with a secret graveyard on her property.. She ran a boarding house where she took in elderly, homeless, alcoholics and drugg addicts. She would then murder them and bury them in her yard around the house.

Rhett, to say that this was a fascinating story would be an understatement truly. This seemingly little old lady got away with some horrific murders. Glad she was finally caught and brought to justice but it shouldn't have taken so long. If the authorities had pursued this sooner perhaps it would have been less victims, period. Great investigating, I personally have always been interested in criminal/murder cases like this. Take care 🐎

I remember when this story broke the news, I was actually in Sacramento when the story in the news broke, I was sitting in a truck stop restaurant eating some spaghetti and lost my appetite in a hurry and sit there watching the rest of the news story in the truck stop restaurant; remember the waitress asking me if there was something wrong with my meal and I remember telling the waitress, no ma'am the meal was fine, just lost my appetite due to the news story and remember the waitress telling me that she knew the old lady and lived a few houses from the old lady's home and could smell a foul odor coming from the yard during the summer months. It's amazing how people still today make a profit off someone else's ill dealings of evil.

That just proves the old adage that you can't judge a book by its cover. Nothing in this life is certain and things often aren't what they seem. I have had people tell me all my adult life that I look mean. Because I am a large man some people have been intimidated by me. The truth is I am very layed back and very slow to anger. This incorrect assumption of me is built solely on my physical size and my facial expressions and nothing more. I am sure there are more cases of criminals that took advantage of the appearances of little old ladies. It is interesting that the police let her leave the premises after they had dug up one body. That sweet little grandma disguise works very well.
@RhettyforHistory
@RhettyforHistory 3 жыл бұрын
You're right about that old adage. Time and time again that proves true and never more than in this case. It's human nature to do that but but certainly not the way to do it. I bet your right about other old ladies doing some sort of crime under the guise of being an old lady. We do have to remember that criminals grow up just like all of us. It does seem odd that they let her go after a body was found. That should have sent up a red flag especially after she asked if she would be arrested. It's such a strange case all the way around.
